4. The move is fantastic on part of BIBI so the oponents
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (01.21.13)
accuse him of political Gimick. It is a brilliant move to recuperate voters for the Likud. Even witout Kahlon, nor Tacimovitch,Livni,Mofaz, Bait Hayehudi or Lapid will improve yheir stance in the elections. They are just jelouse. It is a move that will benefit the country and that is what is important. And I do not Believe Attias shas allways favored better hohousing for Shasg and Haredim
5. "Kahlon is a capable and experienced man."
Harry Wright ,   UK   (01.21.13)
Well then, appointing him the day before or the day after election does not really matter. He deserves the post. Give it to him NOW! The candidates are just jumping on Bibi for everything. They are just CREATING issues. Go, Bibi, go! Go and win the election!
6. #1. Bibi is, by far, the best choice of P.M. now available.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.21.13)
Bibi is not my first choice as P.M. However, of the choices available right now; Bibi is by far the best of the lot. Bibi is infinitely more intelligent, articulate and capable than Livni, Lapid etc. In fact, Livni's conduct is so erratic, it raises questions about her mental stability. Lapid is a media personality posing as a leader.
7. Bibi's opponents want to shrink Israel's waist to 9 miles!
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.21.13)
Bibi's opponents want to shrink Israel's waist to 9 miles (15 minute tank ride). Talk about pathetic! Any child, capable of reading a map, knows Israel couldn't survive a decade if we allow such lunacy.
8. Indeed pathetic
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (01.21.13)
But unfortunately it's not possible to alter the fact that the non-thinking riff raff will always vote for their master who is leading them all to the slaughter.
9. #6. I totally agree with you.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (01.21.13)
I started following events in Israel just prior to the second Lebanon war. As a complete outsider, totally unfamiliar with Israel but with an vague positive view, I could not fathom Livni's performance and decisions as seen in articles and videos. I gave her the benefit of the doubt until I saw her grovelling in front the camera in a world news clip. Mark Regev was more commanding in his deliveries. Since then, I have seen her become more and more erratic. I have no reason to be against the woman per se, but her path will damage Israel immensely in my view. As said in a previous post - she needs a SHRINK!
10. 6 Chaim,what do you think about...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.21.13)
Bennett? You didn t mention him.
11. #10. Don't know what to think of Bennett yet.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.21.13)
#10 Ora. I don't know what to think of Bennett yet. He was absolutely correct, in his initial statement, about the evil of evicting Jews from their homes in Judea and Samaria. Yet he backed down under pressure...just like Bibi always does. I would like to see the likes of Feiglin or Ben Ari as P.M., but that won't happen in the near future.
12. #10. Permit me to give my view.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (01.21.13)
I think Bennett will be good for Israel but not as PM yet. He needs to go through his baptism of fire facing off the "political animals" in the Knesset (all countries have them). He needs to feel "comfortable" in that arena, learn to navigate in it and build up confidence as a politician. He is one to follow closely in terms of how he will shape up. There will be those who will try to destroy him and I hope he can withstand and survive the pressure and thwart them.
13. 11 Chaim,thanks.

I agree with you Harry. Bennett is an up & coming politician who, in time, after he has learnt ''the ropes'' will probably be PM, He is one tough cookie & will withstand the backstabbing, etc.
