What Iranian government is doing in the name of Islam has nothing to do with Islam.According to Islam a robber or thief without committing homicide can never be punished by taking his life .The officials should first provide jobs and food to their people first in order to apply the punishment which can't be more than amputating the thief's hand. The Iranian leadership is far of being Muslim.They are declared murderers who allow the killing of innocent persons in Syria and send Iranian soldiers to kills powerless,innocent and helpless civilians.That same so called Muslim leadership allow adultery,which is worst than stealing in Islam,by encouraging the men to marry for a short time that can be just an hour against some money paid to the woman to satisfy their sexual needs.They call that "Pleasure marriage".This is pure prostitution.They care about sexual needs while they ignore the basic needs of their people :food,housing and employment.

The palestinians have 15 different offence that get the death penalty. However most just get executed in the street and dragged round on a motorcycle. They give the death penalty for murder ( except of Jews, which gets rewarded), treason and lots of other offences like selling land to Jews or thinking.

That you get concerned about Iranian law sentencing crimes of this nature with death penalty.The next door neighbour,Saudi Arabia has been doing it for decades and even before the Islamic Revolution in Iran.How come it does not come to your attention?

The same Rabbi also said "let he who is without sin cast the first stone",and also "blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy". What about forgivness and mercy? Yes,what he did was wrong. He was a thief,and yes he should have been punished but death? It's not like he was an unrepentant babymurderer like say the Fogel family murderers were,and they didn't even get the death sentence although Israel doesn't have a death sentence even for the worst of killers. There aren't any countries in this world that have a death penalty for robbery excepts Iran. I truly pity you if you have no compassion for a young man who is clearly very frightened at the prospect of what might be a slow,painful death.

So over 75,000 Iranian Jews have left Iran. Those who stay are citizens of Iran. They have families, jobs and roots in the country. The regime doesn't make it easy to leave, take their families or savings. And you don't know their intentions.

Iran executes more people than any other country on earth. By far and away. When you look at the laundry list of crimes which warrant the death penalty in Iran, it's enough to make you want to heave. And -- let's face it -- the criminal justice system in Iran is pretty primitive. And the Iranian predilection for lashing people about to be hanged -- don't you consider that to be mindless and excessive torture? I do. I can also see why you might not agree. That makes you kind of primitive, too -- just like your heroes in Iran.

Iran kills anyone the government doesn't agree with, including minor criminals. If Israel kills Pals it is in the midst of defending themselves (I know you don't like it when Jews defend themselves). excuse me, but pretty much every religion has done something to negatively impact the human race, and yes terrible things happen in Islamic regions, but that doesn't mean that Islam is to blame for those terrible act.
