To become an experienced polisher , to whom a manufacturer can give his bigger stones , some years are needed . Then people can make a living of this . Not with the small stones , where buyers pay more for the salaries than for the diamond

The article misses out two key things that make Haredim a good match for the Diamond industry - theproximity of Bnei Brak to Ramat Gan, and the cultural association of diamonds with Haredi communities abroad.
