For our B'nei Mitzva inh the 1960's we tended to get fountain pens and Seforim. Manging to sponsor an ambulance is a very worthy up-grade. Yasher Koach!

Not enough to pay for a decent living and education they deserve for their loss. Hundreds of thousands of kids of Iraq/Afghanistan US casualties (dead and handicapped) live in poverty today, we have over 220 000 homeless vets in this country but they can afford a gift to some town on the other side of the world and deduct it from their share of taxes in this country assuming that they pay and fair share ,... You're one selfish @$#% ^*&%$ coming up with those excuses ,...
