1. Bibi the hypocrit is Israel's biggest threat
Dan   (01.27.13)
What hypocrisy to claim to be Israel's defender, when it is his policies that endanger it. It is his pursuit of the Greater Israel fantasy that has turned Israel's allies against it and given its enemies a pretext for aggression.
2. Wrong assurances!
Keren ,   IL-BR   (01.27.13)
It is not only by pursuing war means that Jews will defend themselves but by not surrendering. Israel is an huge achievement and Bibi is in the verge to deliver it to enemies. Bibi has his mind led by the more far leftists of the world who are jewish ultra orthodox who listen to their sages in the shtetl 300 years ago, and by this way Netanyahu will destroy Israel that has been so hardly built. Ultra orthodoxes and leftists in Israel have it better to have Israel run by arabs than by Jews while walking backwards waiting for Mashiach. In Torah we have examples of going FORWARD and never the opposite!
3. Bibi do us a favour and play another record

4. #1
Michael ,   Haifa   (01.27.13)
You will be attacked here by the majority of the rabid nationalist talkbackers . They are slightly upset at the moment, and, consequently, may be more toxic than usual, but you have my vote and I will gladly share with you their venom.
5. Diverting attention from the real issues.
Alfonso Buzlago ,   Tiberias, Israel   (01.27.13)
Enough of the scare mongering crap Bibi, the elections are over for the meantime. At least try to show some leadership, try solving our real and immediate problems.
6. # 1
Jules   (01.27.13)
Before you blame Bibi for "aggressiveness", just check the PA maps (even in the school textbooks): there is NO Israel on them, no "green lines" - just "Palestine".
7. #4 why upset?
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (01.27.13)
I am a rabid nationalist talkbacker, why should I be upset? First, Barak will apparently not be DM anymore so everyone is happy. True, we have bad election results, but it was exactly what Netanyhu wanted so no one was surprised. We now have to wait for a coalition, and no one can predict what will be, good or bad. In the meantime we see the Left's hope Lapid make demands, but he is slowly crashing against reality. He's already given up on forced Haredi draft. He wants fewer ministers (excellent) but is making demands that make it impossible. He wants negotiations with Abbas, something his voters do not want and may find Netanyahu grant him by letting him be Minister for PA affairs. Lapid has refused the "lowly" education, housing and health (what his supporters want him to take and he might be able to handle) and may end up with FM, a job for which even his supporters admit he is not qualified, although there he would do less damage than in Defense or Finance. Tell me: was all this and 19 mandates worth just to get Peri a job as Internal Security Minister? Peron in politics?
8. Stand strong
Brod ,   USA   (01.27.13)
The PM is right. Israel must stand strong in the face of external challenges.
9. #1 wow
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (01.27.13)
Wow. Netanyahu begged Abbas to negotiate, and was refused. Abbas then violated the Oslo Accords so Netanyahu reacted by asking the PA to pay for their own electricity instead of raising our rates by 30%. What's that have to do with "Greater Israel"? As for turning Israel's allies against us, don't forget how Kadima Labor under Olmerd committed "war crimes" in the Cast Lead operation (ask Goldstone) and imposed the "illegal blockade" that lead to Barak's failed Marmara incident.
10. 6 so what?
(01.27.13)
11. That's right, play the Holocaust card again
Giora Me'ir ,   USA   (01.27.13)
Insult the memory of the victims one more time in your desperate attempt to distract from your record and your actions. You're a pipsqueak of a leader.
12. BIBI go on being strong and bring us benet t
miriam ,   israel   (01.27.13)
13. 1 Our enemies dont lack of pretexts.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.27.13)
Israel must be STRONG,thus UNITED.
14. All Netanyahu can say
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (01.27.13)
No mention of how he is going to raise a third of all Israelis out of poverty. Instead all he can rant on about are none existent threats He was supposed to have bombed Iran by now, in fact it ws an electoral pledge, what happened? Nothing And why? because there is no threat
15. to 1
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (01.27.13)
For starters, yours is one the stupidest posts, I have read in quite some time..When did Bibi claim the title of "defender"? Name at least one policy of Bibi, that endangers Israel... What exactly Israel is doing to cause "allies turning against us and for the enemies to show "aggression"...? All of your palavra, is nothing less, then wishful thinking of a sick mind...
