and events will compel the US to join with Israel in taking action against both Syria and Iran.
2. 'Green light'
(02.02.13)
That's a joke. Israel strikes first and informs the world afterwards. America used to be THE super-power. Those days are over. And its decline is being speed up under Obama's foreign policy.
3. Level Syria's army and any Iranian Guard in Syria
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (02.02.13)
Lets not take any chances in letting Syria's vast arsenal ending up in the hands of Hizbollah terrorist. This is war.
4. Great action by Israel! You made my day!
Samuel Prime ,   Canada   (02.02.13)
Great action by Israel! You made my day! It was bound to happen with all the chaos in Syria and all the sensitive weapons they have. Israel did the right and responsible thing. Bless Netanyahu and Israel.
5. Whittling away at Iran's proxies
Shep ,   Memphis   (02.02.13)
Israel is FINALLY settling a score with Iran's proxies that is long overdue, and the world knows it. It is laughable that Syria, Iran and Russia feign outrage at Israel's attack on Syrian soil considering Syria is a transit point for Russian and Iranian arms that allow Hezzbullah to wage war with sophisticated weapons. Russia should consider Iran/Syria a lost cause amd pull her Navy out of the area.. Besides the fact that the Arab world resents the 65,000 Russia has helped kill in Syria.....the Russian Navy could end up embroiled in a skirmish with Russia that would not end well. The Israel's are protecting their homes , while the Russians are on a costly adventure.
6. Does this come as a surprise?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.02.13)
Well, it shouldn't. Israel owns the skies over the Middle East. Don't like it? Too bad for you. It isn't going to change, so get used to the idea.
7. See? We let ye off the leash now & again
Cameron ,   USA   (02.02.13)
Only right you should be the ones mucking around in Syria instead of us.
8. SO MUCH FOR UPGRADED RADARS
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (02.03.13)
Russians will abandon Syria as soon as the money from Iran dries out. They are only there to protect the arms sells and love it when Israel destroys them. Too bad that only innocent people die for their stupid causes. Arabs are outraged when Israel builds but gutless when people die. That includes the monkeys in Iran too. Am Israel Chai
9. Sorry IDF & Thank U! Cami7 is a fool &

Not one of our nicest nor brightest.. We love and appreciate what ou o for us!
10. Turkish Foreign Minister comments
Davies Samuel ,   Montreal Canada   (02.03.13)
Blaming Syria for not retaliating against Israel is a farce. When Syria downed a Turkish airforce plane why didn't Turkey retaliate? Hypocrisy at it's best.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.03.13)
Yes, we know that you always leave the heavy lifting to us. Does that make you proud? It should make you feel like a poor excuse for an international power. Don't worry. We'll do your dirty work for you, and clean up your mess. But make no mistake -- we aren't doing it for the sake of the United States, democracy or any other stuff. We're doing it because we are determined to protect the six million Jews that reside in the United States. Otherwise -- we'd let you clean your own toilets. Remember Somalia? How well did that go for you? Show a little -- actually, a great deal -- of respect. You're lucky to have us taking your back (you've never taken ours). Who else would come to your rescue? Just keep in mind that it isn't for you. We're protecting our people. No one else will.

Hmmm I interrupt the usual self-praise session on YNET? Heavy lifting? Yeah, babe, I was looking for it during the last Rocket War with Gaza. All I saw were Israelis crouched in the the street, or running for bunkers before Net bowed the head, and struck a deal with those rag-tag groups so they would stop bombarding towns and cities. Sure taught that crew a lesson, eh? Somalia? Compared to 18 futile years in Lebanon before bolting back over the border, and enabling the Hez to become de-facto rulers? So much for that player adventure. Syria? More than pleased to see that burden fall on your shoulders.....as it should. Your neighbor, your peril, your work. With our approval & permission, you are free to start getting pulled into that morass.
