7. Go ahead make my day
zionist forever   (02.03.13)
Iran is not going to start a war with Israel to protect Assad. They may ask Hezbollah to carry out terror but I doubt they ad going to want to start another Lebanon war at this time. The last thing Hezbollah need at a time when things are so unsable in Syria is o turn the .Lebanese people against them. Ahmadinejads speeches are all hot air Israel will probably continue attacks like this and Assad won't be able to do anything and neither Iran or Hezbollah will talk tough.
8. Khameini told former Spanish PM Aznar that
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (02.03.13)
"Israel was a historic cancer and an anomaly, a country to be put in flames and condemned to disappear." the shia terror entity has been planning to destroy the jewish state of israel since the islamic revolution of 1979. they will not succeed.
9. Where is the decency?
(02.03.13)
Any of these Iranian officers should have realized by now that they serve an Mullah elite that cares for its own wealth making plots, but disregards ordinary Iranians. Decency? Embarrassment? Wake up Iranian people!
10. The mullahs regime was in comatose for more 33 years

16. #13 you forgot to say why
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (02.03.13)
You forgot to say why the decent Iranians are dead, imprisoned or terrified. Don't ever forget that Obama gave his full support to Ahmadinejad when he smashed the Green Revolution. Without Obama's support, Ahmadnejad would have been kicked out.
17. What, no dead babies????
Mark ,   London, UK   (02.03.13)
There seems to be a lot of material damage for thankfully few casualties. Perhaps the storage of chemical weapons doesn't require high tech storage facilities. I wonder whether Iran's calls for action reflect their frustration with the ability of Syria to finish off the rebels. Notwithstanding the attacks on the west, I understood that Al Qaeda's primary target is all the Arab regimes which they consider to be lackeys of the west. Syria provides evidence of how effective their tactics are. Iran might be more worried by them than by peaceful protestors. My recollection is that Iran dealt with demonstrations in the same manner as Syria, by using thugs to bully and kill demonstrators. I dare say they advised Assad to use the same tactic. The only link I see with Iran and Syria is the shi'a connection.

Alan ,   SA   (02.03.13)
or in some other holiday resort ... They wont take IDF on ... only unfortunate innocent Jews in some far off place who have nothing to do with Israel .Only they are Jews!
22. Iran must be wiped off, if Iran attack Israel.
C. E. ,   Nigeria   (02.03.13)
Iran is bluffing; but, if Iran attack Israel, then, the entire Iranian territory must be bombarded into coma, even the Iran nuclear reactor plant must be wiped off and the entire regime of Ayatollahs and co will come to a sudden end. Iran beware danger is on the way. You better talk, just talk; but, do not take any action, if not you are doomed.
23. Hilarious! Say no more...

24. Reply # 10 Norbus and the arm chair zionist
Yoni ,   Hertzaliya   (02.03.13)
Agreed, its very easy to be a zionist from the comfort of your arm chair in the US, lecturing us on how to run our lives from the lobby of the Hilton. As far as they are concerend they see Israel as a place you go to for your Barmitsvah, unfortuenlty we have to eat the rotten fruits and not them. They cant commit to Israel as real estate and material possessions are of more importance than living and supporting Israel.
25. re:Moron oops, Miron #14
HaifaGuy   (02.03.13)
Our mullahs gave the world the 10 commandments. How bout yours?
26. It's not about Syria
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.03.13)
It's about the fact that the Iranians are terrified following Israel's deep reach into Iran at Fordo. Supposedly an impregnable fortress built deep inside a mountain, Israel managed to destroy it. That was just a love tap -- a warning note. NOTHING in Iran is outside of Israel's reach, and the Iranians know it. Even if the Iranians were to work up enough courage to do something against Israel, it will likely take the form of trying to act against a Jewish institution (as they did in Argentina) or against an Israeli interest (as they tried to do in Kenya). But that would be a very big mistake. Israel will not perceive a difference, and Iran will pay a heavy price -- likely a crippling one. Internally, Iran is suffering greatly. The rial is essentially worthless -- Monopoly money -- and internal protest is mounting. Journalists have been thrown into jail, as have political activists. Iran's efforts to destabilize neighboring countries have been thwarted; its oil is sitting in storage facilities and a tanker fleet, and Iran does not have the technological know-how to cap the wells in a way that will not prevent a restart of those wells. Israel has thwarted Iranian attempts to re-arm Hezbollah and Hamas; Israel has thwarted Iranian's efforts at its nuclear facilities -- in short, Israel has humiliated Iran. The famous "monkey shot that never was" has also turned Iran into an international laughingstock. Israel has proven that Iran's vaunted Revolutionary Guard are inept and useless. Two basic Iranian food staples -- rice and chicken -- are no longer affordable for the average Iranian. Things are very, very bad in Iran, and they are only going to get worse. All they have left is their rather boring rhetoric. Let them vent. But they need to be on alert -- harming a single Jew (yes, I said Jew, not Israeli) anywhere will anger Israel. And there will be catastrophic results for Iran. The crazy mullahs need to understand this. Or suffer the results, very much to their peril. Men in skirts. That could be a Monty Python skit, and that is about as seriously as anyone takes the Islamic Republic of Iran.
27. if they coulda, they woulda
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (02.03.13)
If the Arabs could have gotten rid of us, they would have. The fact that they say what they say means that they can't do it other wise they would have done it so long ago.
28. The mullah regime is IMPOTENT and Ass ad
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.03.13)
already a DEAD MAN walking...oh well...
29. Blah Blah Blah
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (02.03.13)
If words could kill Iran would be the # 1 killer. As it is, they sponsor more Muslim deaths than anyone other than the Saudi's. I guess as words are free this cannon mouth is using the only ammo he has.. Empty threats. If Israel made this strike and showed up this regime now left embarrassed and humiliated, who could ask for more??? I love it when the Mullah's go 'girlie' on everyone, so funny.
30. Sarah Perhaps Iran will spend its way into bankruptcy?
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (02.03.13)
to bankruptcy? Her 'successes' are questionable, at a cost non sustainable or realistic. In addition, over one million of her citizens are heroine addicts, unemployment is staggering and her people are more than willing to over throw this regime, ( if possible ) and time isn't on Iran's side.. Most interesting political drama, you've outlined the facts, just thought one more might be helpful.
