1. throw back the US and german patriot missiles
Robocop   (02.03.13)
And let teh turks defend themselves against the Syrian crossfires.. It will not last long to see ErDogan and davutogolu whine.. The AKP are just the other face of Muslim fanaticism.
2. Turkey should stop meddling in everyone else affairs
Alex   (02.03.13)
Because it will soon or later backfire on them.
3. Isn't this ironic?
Ferdinand ,   Israel & France   (02.03.13)
The Turks seem to be more upset that Israel bombed Syria than they were when Syria shot down a Turkish plane. Mr Erdogan, is it really SO important to attack Israel that it takes precedence over carying about your own country?? If that is the case, resign as Turkish PM and leave your job to someone who cares about Turkey more than about slamming Israel.
4. to Obama friend Erdogan
Fad Egypt   (02.03.13)
please shut up, first leave Kurdistan, and Cyprus, stop supporting terrorism in Syria, and stop interference in the arab countries by supporting the MB, then come to speak about Israel, you are islamist moron shalom
5. Erdogan sounds like a frustrated man
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (02.03.13)
This man simply must sound big even when he has nothing sensible to say. He shows all the signs of being an insignificant figure on the global stage who cannot come to terms with his bit part. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
6.  AKP will finish in the dustbin of history
Grey   (02.03.13)
7. Talking of History, any mention of the Armenian Geoncide?
Haim ,   TA   (02.03.13)
8. Turkish troublemakers
(02.03.13)
The Turkish PM has such a big mouth. Who does he think he is. They should never be allowed to be an EU country. They have nothing in common with any EU country. They are just stirrers and troublemakers, exactly like Iran. Evil is bred in these two countries, as they try to spread hatred toward Israel/the Jewish people. But it will not stop here. Once this goal is achieved it will be hatred against the entire Western/Christian world. They put so much of pressure on Assad with their hate filled opinions. All is aimed to ignite a war. That is the goal of both Turkey and Iran. They want a full scale war, that involves Israel. This whole thing has nothing to do with Syria. Syria is just an excuse here. An excuse to achieve what they really want. Endogan is a very wicked, evil and lousy individual just like his counterpart in Iran.
9. Arab argument against Israeli strike on Syria laughable
Shep ,   Memphis   (02.03.13)
The entire world knows that Iranian arms have propped up Syria and Hezbullah's conflict with Israel since 1978- a conflict that has seen numerous wars and thousands of Iranian made weapons fired from Lebanon. Israel should have cut off the head of the snake Syria a long time ago...but they waited for the most oppotune time and with Syria in. Civil war, Hezzbullah still licking their wounds from the last war, and Hamas beaten into submission, it is just a matter of time before the Isreali spear turns towards the Iranian regime. The Iranian people are not the target of Israel, as the majority of them hate Amademajad and many are Western educated. Ending the trio of terrorism - Iran, Syria, and Hezbullah will be an improvement over whatever takes it's place.
10. Erdogan
Prof. Stegemann ,   Basel Switzerland   (02.03.13)
"History will not forgive" - what an idiotic and pathetic sentence. But Erdogan himself will be judged by history - and he will not be the judge. He will be judged as someone who was absolutley anti-Israel - in misunderstanding of his country's interests.
11. Erdogan is the evidence..
Beary White ,   Norway   (02.03.13)
.. that Iran successfully launched a monkey into space, but unfortunately it came down in turkey..
12. Clowns.........
Asher ,   NY,USA   (02.03.13)
13. There he goes again!!!
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (02.03.13)
The powder puff who roared. His 'flotilla' adventure still plagues Erdogen. Perhaps he should concentrate of 'aiding' the thousands of Syrians who are streaming into his impoverished nation? Or, is it far cheaper and easier to keep blaming Israel for trying to protect herself from deadly imported Syrian weapons?? One thing for sure, whenever his mouth opens, moths fly and fall out.
14. # 11 And the monkey Erdogen spoke!!!
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (02.03.13)
15. # 8 One correction, if I may.....
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (02.03.13)
The EU and Turkey have one thing in common hatred of Jews and of Israel. Allied by mutual anti semitism and mutual poverty and ignorance all due to more Muslims and their war lord 'leaders' They all go down in mutual anti semitic fames.
16. Erdogan, hopefully, will soon be history
Susya Bar Dror ,   Israel   (02.03.13)
Syria is falling apart, with or without Turkey. Without Patriots Syria would attack Turkey or syrian refugees in Turkey. Erdogan, before blabbering political rubbish, switch of your koran and switch on your brains.
17. in fact Edogan is so angry because..
Arctodus Simus ,   Fort Yukon-Alaska   (02.03.13)
his army can't do the same. The Syrians shoot down a Turkish airplane patrolling at the border and Turkey did nothing. Syrians send missiles in Turkey killing civilians, and Erdogan did nothing. But what makes Erdogan angry is to see that Israel enters Syrian airspace and strikes whenever it will on Syrian or Iranian Targets. This demonstation proving only Turkey weakness.
18. Erdogan and Davutoglu
Mira ,   Vienna   (02.03.13)
Muppet-show-revival!
19. # 3: its not irony, its hatred of Jews
Susya Bar Dror ,   Israel   (02.03.13)
because of the current islamic political leadership Turkey is antisemitic and antiisrael. they really hate jews. Or, jews must be the dhimmis. For Erdogan and his islamic brothers it is inacceptable that jews are fighting.
20. ERDOGAN AND HIS CRONIES
Moises ,   Israel   (02.03.13)
Mr Erdogan has dreams of grandeur drawn from the Ottoman ruling of the past, without remembering their barbarian behaviour over other ethnic groups under their occupation for centuries, eg : Armenian massacre. Mr Erdogan and his cronies should be careful about their rethoric, and mind their own business, and make sure not to attack its own Kurdish citizens in countries not his own.Furthermore he realize how stupid his assertions sound like in the ears of the educated world.
21. Turkey is not a reliable ally of the West
Shalom Freedman ,   Jerusalem Israel   (02.03.13)
Turkey is not a reliable ally of the West despite its NATO status.. Its hostility to Israel is one side of this. But it has also proven unreliable as a U.S. ally though President Obama has largely chosen to ignore this. A strong State Dept. rebuke of Turkish statements is the very minimum required in the present situation.
22. Such childishness
Alceste ,   Beer Sheva   (02.03.13)
I am always struck by the kind of language used by the Arab and Muslim leaders on serious matters. If a convoy bringing dangerous weapons/a factory engaged in biological weapon development was indeed destroyed by the intended victims of such arms, referring to such an attack as a show of arrogance, or the country as a spoiled child betrays an infantile, perhaps adolescent perception of current affairs.
23. Makes you wonder how much better Turkey could be
Ilan   (02.03.13)
Are the Turkish people really happy that their political leadership operates at the same mental capacity as rabid dogs? They deserve much better.
24. "History will not forgive" christians & moooslums for what
Moshe ,   Usa   (02.03.13)
they did to us over the milenium. So Mr. turnkey prime munster, keep your idiot mouth closed.
25. Doesn't Turkey drop bombs on northern Iraq all the time?
Thomas the Doubter ,   USA   (02.03.13)
Slightly ironic. When Turkey does something about the plane that Syria shot down or the shelling of its border villages then I'll believe them. I think Erdogan is just trying to goad Assad into starting something with Israel because he's pretty sure Assad will lose and then they'll be rid of him.
26. History will not forgive the oppression of the Kurds
Berk ,   Amsterdam , Holland   (02.03.13)
27. Speaking of History, Why don't u listen to Emperor Selassie?
The Observer   (02.03.13)
“Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.” (Emperor Haile Selassie). So where are you standing Mr. Erdogan... 80,000 Syrians already gone, most of them are Muslims and still counting at your border, at your backyard ... History already holding you account for your inaction, the fact no-one serve you with the papers does not mean you are not responsible... History known for poor postal delivery system and no doubt you are taking advantage of that. Nevertheless a blind man like you which prefer to wear his hater's glasses still whining ISRAEL IS THE PROBLEM. No shame... look all over the Arab world, there is no any "spring" and yet it has nothing to do with Israel..
28. Against every International law
Get Real ,   UK   (02.03.13)
Standard wording used against Israel for those trying to impress the muslim world as long as you do not use it in commenting about muslim countries treatment of their own citizens.
29. History will NEVER forgive Turkey for the Armenian Genocide!
David ,   The Galilee   (02.03.13)
History will NEVER forgive Turkey for butchering the Kurds!
30. to #8, erdogan is not Turkey
the mad zionist ,   san francisco   (02.03.13)
he spent represent the majority of his people's. they still haven't forgiven him for turning down every offer for help with the earthquake. the majority of Turks are amazing people. ive visited Turkey over a dozen times since high school 10 years ago. erdogan is islamasizing Turkey, and he does not have his people's best interest at heart. just like Obama doesn't represent everyone in the US, erdogan is in the same field.
