1. Israelis know better what's good for Palestinians?
Mary   (03.02.13)
Why do the journalists not ask Palestinian workers? Do always Israelis know better what Palestinians think? And to Mr. Birnbaum: Why only facebook friends and not real life friends? Segregated areas for Palestinians and Israelis?
2. #1 shows how old you are!!!
Ilan ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (03.03.13)
All kids nowadays socialize through Facebook and their phones. that's just the way it is now. this isn't the 70's 80's or 90's. This is the internet age....hell, we've even passed that now! on the other hand, how do you think those kids met? what they stalked their parents' Facebook looking for friends of friends with kids their age? Obviously, they met each other in person! #1 ,what an idiot you are!!! Segregated? Israelis live in Israeli, and Palestinians live in Palestine. The Palestinians only work in Israel, or Israeli controlled territory. (what ever is easier going down) and by your dumb logic, how come when the Israeli CEO made a statement, you had no problem accepting the statement on behalf of the Israeli workers, but you have a problem accepting it on the Palestinians's behalf. Maybe the Israeli's don't feel that way, maybe only the Palestinians? maybe none of them, maybe both?? that was the stupidest, most uneducated comment i have ever read on ynet. all for the sake of just being pro-Palestinian?i don't think people like you help their cause at all. THINK FIRST, than write!!
3. They did ask!
Yaniv ,   USA   (03.03.13)
First person interviewed was a guy Nabeel Basharat, "If we find a job in the Palestinian Authority for good work, for good money, we will work there. But we don't have that work," (and he is a shift manager)
4. The Orange Mango is delicious.
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (03.03.13)
The Orange...Grape... and Country Time Lemonade are also excellent. Dr. Pete tastes off a bit. The Lemon Lime is good too. Bring down the prices of the C02 canisters and flavorings....and you'll be in much better competition with Coke and Pepsi products. If you could get Pepsi or Coke to put their syrups into a container.... like County Time Lemonade has done with Soda Stream.....then you could corner the market on home made beverages. The Highly caffeinated energy drinks will keep you up for two days when you first start to drink them. They pack a punch. They don't cost $3.99 a can either.....just 50 cents a glass. The CO2 containers cost $19.99 to refill in Alaska. The Syrups are from $5.99 for Orange....to $7.99 for Orange Mango. Bring the prices down and flood the market.....then build up a following.

Obviously Israelis do, otherwise palestinians wouldn't be flocking to Israel, getting well paid and getting benefits. "Why only facebook friends and not real life friends?" - Why should they? I bet in your Marxist bubble we should force them, huh?
6. Thanks for insulting me (#2), thanks for Your comment (#3)
Mary   (03.03.13)
I don't want comment Your insults, but it is obvious that Your lack of reasonable arguments lead you to insults and emotional outbreaks. I like the state of Israel, but I would be a much more strong supporter if Israel will give equal rights to all inhabitants of the "Israeli controlled territory" as You call it. "Israeli controlled territory" = occupied territory = stolen land = segrerated areas = two systems of law to the settlers (Israeli civil law) and the indigenious Palestinians (military law). Soda stream = world wide well known company which benefits from the occupation and now shows up that it gives same money even to Palestinians (what a grace to act lawful to such people!). #3 Thanks, may be You're right. However, I thought the shift Manager was a Druse which are often presented from Israeli hasbara as "Arabs" to the international community - which they are not by their own definition.
7. SodaStream Is A Prime BDS Target
World Citizen ,   the   (03.03.13)
Because of their high visibility in the American advertisement realm they have an 'X' on their backs. Just think in the same way Israeli snipers publish photos of Palestinian children in their crosshairs. As they say "Turnabout is fair play!"
8. this product

the usa markets CAN'T KEEP SODA STREAM IN THEIR STORES. they sell asap so that i, myself, have a very very hard time finding one anywhere. the stores always tell me that they fly out of the store the minute they get them in. long waiting lines in specialty stores like bed bath and beyond, linens and things, other specialty kitchen stores, department stores, etc... they can;t order soda stream fast enough for all millions who want this product. it is one of the most popular kitchen appliance these days in the usa. it sells like mad and is hard to find because stores can hardly keep up with the demand. some bds for you, world citizen. the fatc is that this product is HOT HOT HOT. and people desire it no matter your bds fantasy. the usa could care less about bds and find it and its supporters offensive. just look what happened at oxford last week. the union refused to support your bds and by a huge majority turned down your wet dream. suffer and stew.
