First he is a spiritual leader to very few, certainly fewer than follow the crooked television evangelicals or pedophiliac priests in the US. How do you know, how many followers Rabbi Ovadia Yosef has ? I know, that Rabbi Ovadia, is a very highly learned & esteemed & has a large following for many decades.. I am also sure, that the word "scoundrel" got lost in translation...But a lot of Israelis, myself among them, are very concerned about the state of security and economy, having this happy, "go merry" unexperienced person,wanting to lead Israel...
