was it to be expected that Iran would just give up and walk away from supporting the Syrian dictator and the close links that gave them to the Hezbollah terrorist network with its up close threat to Israel. Israel must make it clear from the start that who eventually gains power in Syria, this would put the whole of Syria at risk were they to open hostilities against Israel.
