1. Nice start
Givat ,   Givatayim   (02.11.13)
But, isn't Bibi being a little hypocritical? Last I recall, he has put preconditions on the bargaining table as well.
2. Two states: Israel and Jordan
George   (02.11.13)
There's already two states in play.
3. Talks going nowhere so Palestinians want free concessions
Sam ,   Canada   (02.11.13)
Palestinians know that there can't be any peace solution because they reject living next to a Jewish majority Israel. So, they want preconditions so that they can at least pocket some free concessions like a freeze or prisoner release. The US and EU would like that Israel entice the Palestinians into accepting a Jewish Israel by not provoking them with settlements or by luring them with free concessions. However, that method is going nowhere because Palestinians just pocket the concessions and wait for more. Nothing really changes until Palestinians have an attitude change. They still feel that they can make a Jewish Israel disappear and don't have to compromise.
4. Netanyahu and the two state solution
Harold ,   USA   (02.11.13)
No one believes Netanyahu. Likud 's charter is NOT TO GIVE A SINGLE SQUARE INCH OF OCCUPIED LAND BACK TO THE PALESTINIANS. He is saying so to blame the Palestinians for not accepting peace and to save himself from the Europeans. The Europeans wants an answer from Netanyahu before the end of March otherwise they will apply trade sanctions.
5. bb stands by 2 stats SOL, ha ha ha haaaaa
Big Mouth ,   On the face   (02.11.13)
6. The "2 state" solution already exists : Israel and
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.11.13)
Gaza...! AND NOW : Implement the Levy report !
7. C'mon, Obama's coming so what's Bibi gonna say?
michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (02.11.13)
Bibi knows the two State solution died with the dinosaurs but he's gotta play the game.
8. #4 is incorrect
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (02.11.13)
Likud has sadly given up more Israeli land then any other party. Likud over saw the giving of Israel's Sinai to Egypt, Bibi gave up Hebron and other lands to the PLO in the nineties and it was Likudnik Ariel Sharon who gave up Gaza, so you are wrong. Bibi gave up more of Israeli land than Peres and Rabin combined. Do your homework.
9. Preconditions
X   (02.12.13)
Precondition 1: Demilitarised Precondition 2: recognise jewish STATE. None of those Will be accepted. Bring criminals to ICC. The only reason for Obama's visit is to delay the ICC complaint.
10. 2 STATES - 1 SECULAR THE OTHER HAREDI... RIGHT?
stude ham   (02.11.13)
that is now the situation on the ground.
11. American leaders use Netanyahu's words against us.
Steve   (02.12.13)
I am so weary of PM Netanyahu saying how eager he is to establish a Palestinian enemy state at Israel's throat. Doesn't he know his "good friend" Mitt Romney and others use his own words to stab us (Israel) in the back. This is really sick.
12. Peace Negotiations
Freonpsandoz ,   Los Angeles, USA   (02.12.13)
There can be no "good faith" peace negotiations as long as Israel continues settlement expansion. It is clear that Netanyahu intends to expand Israeli settlement and control of Palestinian territories with one hand while "negotiating" with the other. His concept for a "2-state solution" is clearly a greatly expanded Israel and a tiny piece of land for the Arab Palestinians.
13. stop playing games...
jonny ,   norway   (02.12.13)
Israel need to stop playing games and take over all of the west bank... 2 state?? really.. they collapse if Israel don't give them money... finish this problem already..
14. Netanyahu stands by... solution
Stephen ,   UK   (02.12.13)
The very question is "on what terms?"
15. It's not two states it's Netanyahoo's two faces...TATA.
Edithann ,   USA   (02.12.13)
...
16. #2 - Then officially tell the UN what Israel's borders are.
spyguy ,   seattle, usa   (02.12.13)
If Israel's eastern border is the Jordan River, then say it, and give every human inside the borders Israeli citizenship, because they are NOT going anywhere, least of all to Jordan. This is your basic problem, if you want the land, then you have to ALSO accept the humans living on the land. There is no country on earth that will accept over a milio0n poor people to make Israel happy. You have to either take the land AND the people OR give up the land and the people, you have NO OTHER OPTION!
17. What the sophisticated Germans couldn't manage in '39, the
tom ,   tel aviv   (02.12.13)
followers of Religion of Peace are to finish in 2015? The Real Final Solution? and that's something an Israeli PM is putting forward?! Wake me up, please!!!!!!!
18. two states ?
sid ,   Israel   (02.12.13)
you are absolutely right # 10
19. #4 - you didn't mention Obama's visit ..
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (02.12.13)
Of course the whole thing is a charade. Neither Israel nor the PA wants a two State solution, but for different reasons. Bibi has to play the game!
20. Wise and Relatively Fair
Zechariah   (02.12.13)
Despite General support of Nazism in the Islamic world in Iraq at the Movies they Booed Churchill and Cheered Hitler they left the Jews alone if they payed shimmied sometimes easy dhimi sometimes very harsh as in Yemen even in 1941 the Mullahs wanted a harsher Dhimmi for the Jews So a Demilitirized Palestinian Autonomy/State is survivable .But no Jihadi or Fatah Ba'ath can be Resident in such a state for they are Belligerent with Extreme Cruelty .
21. PA/Hamas
Brod ,   USA   (02.12.13)
These Islamist-Jihadist fanatics do not see a 2-state. They want all of it. And they fool and coerce the world to do their dirty work in crusading against Israel. Israel needs to counter this and be faithful to the Land of Israel-Israel's Liberated Historic and Biblical Homeland to insure peace and security.
22. Two states west of Jordan is the only solution.
Uzziel   (02.12.13)
Israel + Judea and Samaria.
23. Two viable Palestinian states--Israel and Jordan
Zin   (02.12.13)
maybe, gaza
24. A PM without credibility is a worthless relic. Ho home BB.
Michael ,   California, USA   (02.12.13)
25. 14 As long as US pays to end the occupation
lydia ,   Brisbane   (02.12.13)
The more illegal settlement he builds the more $$$ he will demand from the US taxpayers for ending the occupation. However not a cent should be given until the Palestinian are adequately compensated for 60Y of illegal occupation, mass murder etc. Israel must pay compensation for every tree uprooted, every crop destroyed, death, and every house destroyed.
26. #4. Europe has far more to lose than Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.12.13)
#4 Harold. Israel is not about to give up our more than 3,500 year old ancestral heartland due to European threats. This land is ours forever. Europe has far more to lose than Israel. Europe is basically bankrupt and Israel is becoming a major energy power. G'd really is on Israel's side and it's obvious in countless very practical ways.
27. The Two State Solution
ltrail ,   United States   (02.12.13)
Secretary of State John Kerry believes the funds [withheld by USofA, must be released without delay. Why? The so-called palestinians chose to seek statehood at the UN, when they truly do not deserve such elevation in status. The inexperienced John Kerry needs to take small steps in walking or he'll fall. The Citizens of the USofA need to know why those PA funds should be released. The Pals should take a niche out of Jordan for their new home.
28. If Netanyahu truly believes this: he's a FOOL!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (02.12.13)
And, God will judge him...just like the others' who tried to divide His Land!
29. #12 False
Alex   (02.12.13)
There are no legal settlement expansion outside of eastern Jerusalem (which will be apart of Israel no matter what peace deal).
30. No one believes Bibi
George Pali   (02.12.13)
Israel just approved to build 90 homes in the Bet El settlement which is deep inside the West Bank. Please stop the lies Bibi.
