When PM Netanyahu says he stands by the 2-state solution, what does he really mean? Israel on the West of the Jordan River, and actual Jordan as the Palestinian state on the East? Or Israel and Jordan, and a Palestinian state in between? In this last case the Palestinian state and Jordan would soon or later, and I would say rather soon, merge to become one single state. Hoping of a demilitarized Palestinian state is just futile wishful thinking: an independent state is independent and can even conclude military alliances with whom it wants !
