Assumption.Speculation = Fame seeking Journalists

What is the story here. Once again there is a double standard when it comes to Israel.

Is there a gag order preventing his wife and family from talking about him, aknowledging he ever existed? Has his identity been erased from all government computers? Is there now no trace of him having entered and lived in Israel? I saw a movie like that. However, reality is scarier than fiction. If certain authorities are above the law and have to answer to no-one, then what safeguards are there that it could not happen to you or me..

After reading this article and declaretions of Left MKs, we still do not know anything about the reasons why that man was (secretly) jailed . If it was and remains top state secret, we should respect it. If it was not the case, then it is quite normal in a democratic state like Israel is today, to reveal what happened in that case.

the man's family in australia does not want to speek. israel has no authority over them. the man's full name is known, as is his entire biography with the exception of the possible charges against him. if indeed he was imprisoned in israel as a mossad agent, the only possible charges would be espionage or treason. mossad agents are extremely highly valued by the state, and as such, are usually very protected, not imprisoned. some common sense would be welcome.
