I presume that you grew up in SA . I have always felt that Bargouti is the Palestinian Mandela and that his release could help bring about the Peace which Israel needs to guarantee her future. Mandela as the leader of the ANC was found guilty of the murder of many people killed in bomb attacks just as happened with Bargouti. This guy would have gone on a hunger strike and more to get out if this is what he and others wanted. He is in an Israeli jail because that is the safest place for him. When the time comes he will be released. It might come in the guise of the release of someone else. But the bottom line is if this man is the next leader of his people he will get out of jail. Thousands of people have died in the mess we are in. We all know someone who has been killed by terrorism against Israel. It is a worldwide disease.
