I state categorically that Israel is a de facto apartheid state. No other country in the civilized Western World has the phenomenon of separation such as exists in Israel. I repeat de facto and not de jure. All sectors of society, ethnic and religious live in their own closed off communities devoid of others. The prime example is the Haredi communities and the fact that there are Haredi only towns. Other examples are the Druze and Circassians. Separate shops for Haredim in Jerusalem, separate shops for Haredi women in Jerusalem. Separate schools for different degrees of religion and also schools that will not accept colored people. All those who say Jagel is right, will not look at the reality that Israel has repeatedly offered over 90% of 'west bank' plus east Jerusalem to the PA and they have refused these offers of land for peace.
