2. When will world powers realize that Iranian leaders
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (02.21.13)
are just thumbing their nose at the rest of the world. It seems to me that certain Eastern countries are also pushing the "button". Doesn't all these "buttonologies" scare someone?
3. #2 - A slight "correction" for you ...
spyguy ,   seattle, usa   (02.21.13)
Iran is NOT " thumbing their nose at the rest of the world," but only the US and Israel. In reality, the rest of the world doses not actually care whether Iran gets nukes or not. In this case, the US and Israel are on the losing side.
4. Under Obama's nose, the shia terrorists will get the bomb
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (02.21.13)
it is becoming increasingly clear that obama will not lift a finger to stop iran from becoming a nuclear power with nuclear weapons and the ballistic missiles to deliver them. the hagel nomination and articles published in pro-iran think tanks makes this very clear. obama's policy is "containmeent." israel will be left on her own in an attempt to stop iran, for at least long enough for the next us president to clear up the mess.
5. Iran does not have the legal right to enrich uranium
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (02.21.13)
since iran violated its obligations under the NPT, and since iran has been under united nations chapter vii security council resolutions enjoining it from uranium enrichment and all other nuclear activities, iran has lost its legal right to enrich uranium. it is stunning that professor yousaf butt does not know this simple fact or else he pretends not to know it.
6. #3 spyguy
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (02.21.13)
When Iran has annexed Bahrain and closed the Strait of Hormuz, the rest of the world will care. And, by the way, Seattle looks like a perfect target for an Iranian ICBM. Duck and cover!
7. The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind...

8. When it comes to Irans Nuclear Activities
Tim ,   Brighton   (02.21.13)
Its simple Their actions speak louder than their words Do they honestly believe that their word or reassurances are of any value given all the subterfuge, lies and open belligerence? Do they honestly believe that countries in the region and that INCLUDES Russia India Turkey Saudi Arabia even Pakistan are inclined to 'welcome' with open arms a Nuclear Armed Iran run by such a fanatical unstable Regime? And what about the sinister recent reports of secret enhanced 'military and nuclear' cooperation between North Korea and Iran? Not such a secret anymore...That part of the world IS NOT IMMUNE from Irans dangerous hegemony. Yet whilst Japan Taiwan and China squabble over an island and dont bother to see where their joint interests are in keeping the peace in SE Asia meanwhile in their midst the North Korea/Iran threat looms to catch them off guard and put them in the firing line of N Korean and Iranian aggression
9. COINCIDENCE OF DATES...................
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (02.21.13)
And it is going to remain so.Believing that Iran is deliberately installing the new generation of centrifuges coinciding with the talks on 26th.February is mere speculation.Under the present circumstances,Iran had and has every right to enrich the uranium to the extent it needs for the civilian use.Looking at it closely, certain coun tries are making a deliberate attempt to alarm the world the moment Iran expands its production level of enriched uranium. We,as readers, also pick it up the trend every few months with the same wording of 'concern at the Iranian announcement'.Even Sarah of USA/Israel has now given up commenting on the topic. She is presently concentrating on the rat problem in Tehran to divert the subject.

12. #5 - As usual, CJK is completley WRONG
spyguy ,   seattle, usa   (02.21.13)
Per the IAEA, Iran is FULLY COMPLIANT with the NPT. As the article notes, IAEA inspectors were ON-SITE as the new centrifuges were being installed. Per the NPT, it is perfectly legal for Iran to enrich uranium. The US and Israel may not like it, BUT it is LEGAL. Note that so far, the US and Israel have been COMPLETELY UNABLE to provide any proof that Iran has violated the NPT, as in zero proof.
