1. They sure know how to put on a show
mira ,   nyc   (02.24.13)
This is all for Obama's benefit. Palestinian leaders do not care how many of their own people are hurt for perceived political gain. How is this different than the intifada we now know that Arafat started intentionally in 2000?
2. what a bunch of demented people
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (02.24.13)
they throw acid in the faces of their own young girls, blow each other up in martyr operations, but are outraged when they are brought to justice.
3. Why only one day? Come on guys make it a marathon.
Cynic ,   USA   (02.24.13)
4. 3000 less terrorists to feed = a lot of money saved
Commentator   (02.24.13)
Money of hard-working normal people - the Israeli taxpayers.
5. No excuse for keeping terrorists alive.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.24.13)
Not only would promptly executing captured terrorists bring some measure of justice for their victims. It would also save Israel a world of heart ache. There is no excuse for keeping terrorists alive.
6. They should be free to starve themselves
Julia ,   USA   (02.24.13)
to death if that is their wish. But they won't. tsk
7. Die, if you want to.
Franco ,   Roma, Italia   (02.24.13)
Being fed is a right of prison inmates, not a duty. And feeding the prisoners is Israel's duty as long as they want to be fed. If the terrorists prefer to starve and die, that is a legitimate choice. I won't shed a tear, just like I did not cry for the self called "freedom fighter" Bobby Sands.
8. Israel Must Remain Resolved But Restrained
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (02.24.13)
These violent mobs of Arabs rioting will always find a reason to riot. There is nothing new with this. Meanwhile Israel must restore law and order and do so in a manner that won't give the enemies of Israel free air time on CNN. The IDF is doing a great job, but must start arresting leaders of riots.
9. Violation of their rights
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (02.24.13)
IIt is a violation of their most basic human rights to force feed them. Bring them their regular meals. If they don't eat accept their choice.
10. Oh, please!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.24.13)
More encouragement on the part of the ersatz "Palestine" Authority to incite the violence prone ersatz "Palestinians" to greater violence in order to deflect attention from the fact that the ersatz "Palestine" Authority is responsible for the economic misery of Arabs living under their control. Go ahead, incite another intifada. Watch what happens.
11. 170 prisoners under the age of 18?
Alen Mckay ,   Sarasota, FL   (02.24.13)
This seems like clear violations of human rights. The kid that died was arrested for throwing stones at the soldiers and dies of a heart attack? Either the healthcare they are providing is not good enough or they just don't care about Palestinian lives as they do theirs. I say it is about time my country stop supporting such countries.
12. Peace
(02.25.13)
Their well never be peace unless they get out of the settlements that are illegal and stolen
