1. Israel is doing the Bedouins an injustice.
Expat ,   Adelaide   (02.25.13)
Shame on Israel for imposing their enlightened 21st-century norms, on the Bedouins 7th-century culture of patriarchy, misogyny, violence and barbaric honor. How dare they interfere like that in the native culture's beautiful customs? What a hutzpa... Clearly this place would have been so much better without those damn zionist occupiers and oppressors.

it is interesting that those who slam Israel for human rights Violations tend to turn a blind eye to blatant human rights violations in Islamic states ...or play the violations down ... Time to re evaluate our political correctness !

There is no honor in killing your child.
5. It's good to know how to really honor your daughter.
The sins of their fathers will visit them to their third and fourth generations. That would be a nice verse to be able to be no more. There's a right way to do things and a wrong way. People can have sensitivities to honoring their daughters (and sons) and develop "ways" to see that they're appeased and don't run across a barage of "stumbling blocks". Let's hear it for them and from them on their ways and see where some methods are better than none at all. Competition is good to see how far efforts can take you. Ways regarding these kinds of issues are definitely worth putting up for competition. That's for those who would care enough to think about it.
