I wonder if these Syrians would fire at Israel in the future. I hope they take home with them how Israel is a good place for all religions.

There is a bizarre myth that somehow providing good medical care will change people's opinions of the Jewish people. It is nonsense. I am a surgeon in London. I have a large Arab patient base. These patients know Jews are good doctors and seek the best healthcare. It in no way affects their opinions of Jews or Israel. Even in Nazi Germany the Germans knew Jews were good doctors and scientists. It didn't change the Nazis' attitude towards Jews. I served in the IDF many years ago as a doctor Lebanon and I shall never forget the screams of a Lebanese wounded man who demanded to be flown to Israel for treatment and screaming that he would never let Arab touch him! Likewise the recent documentary of the Palestinian child receiving cancer care in Israel and the mother saying what an honour it would be if her child became a Shahid and killed Jews. The whole world knows that Jews provide good medical care it changes nothing! Just as I know that Portuguese Gardeners are good in London or Polish builders!

does great credit to the State of Israel in nursing those from an enemy state regarding itself still at war with Israel. Could one even imagine the situation were the positions to be reversed?

In 1991, Bkur Holim Hospital refused to treatment me for dehydration cause by a virus I contracted after a month of doing volunteer work at a childrens' home in Gan Yavna unless I handed over my passport and credit card.It was a very bad situation for a diabetic with an ileostomy. I got no help from the governments of Israel or the Us and these people get free assistance?
7. SURPRISED....

Completely correct sir. I am glad someone said it. A Jewish doctor or lawyer or accountant (to them) is merely a tool, no different than a hammer. Except they are emotionally neutral towards the hammer and they are hostile to the Jew, once the service is complete.
