Due to the mess Bush and the Republicans made of our economy and the $1 Trillion wasted on Iraq, we have had to make massive defence cuts - two aircraft carriers are unable to sail due to crew cut backs and lack of funds, one of which was supposed to be deployed to the Gulf. Looks like we can't afford a war with Iran.
