First of all, Boruch Dayan HaEmess. I remembered quite distinctly that R. Froman once said in a TV interview many years ago that he felt that the Arab-Israeli conflict was essentially a religious conflict and not a political one, and, thus, something which secular leaders were incapable of understanding and resolving. He said that ultimately the conflict could only be solved between the religious leadership of each side. I was impressed by this particularly refreshing analysis. Some years later, I met R. Froman and complimented him on this very clever insight of his. However he bewildered me when all he said was, "I never said that", and walked away.
