It can be Saar or anyone else in the next Israeli government, a committed person to bettering Israeli society. Time to end the Yeshivot system and teach general education to the Haredim, to prepare them for service to the country, for a lifetime of work and for paying taxes like any other citizen. Teaching English to the Haredim and making them take Matriculation Examinations should be a declared priority of the new Education Minister. The time has come ...

Sa'ar has proven to be a better Education Minister than many of his predecessors. Certainly better than Tamir. Sa'ar has pushed for more school visits to Israel's historic sites, giving them a better sense of "why we are here". And Israel's International rankings have started going back up. There's more money for the research institutions, but still not enough.
