1. Lapid doesnt care whats best for citizens
zionist forever   (03.05.13)
Lapid is interested in himself and himself alone. Before he even set foot in the Knesset his first speech was how he intended to be the next PM. He refuses to sit in coalition which includes the religious even though having both of them would be best for the country. He has said that sitting in a coalition with the religious would be disastrous for his image. He acts like an emperor thinks he is going to be running the show and there is no way he will not fight tooth and nail against any legislation thats not good for his image. Lapid is an ambitious backstabber who cannot be trusted by anybody. Giving him finance is also a terrible idea. All Lapid has ever done has been a tv host and journalist, in the army when he was so called sharing his share of the burden his job was a radio presenter. Now we are going to be giving him control of the countries finances. Find another job for him give finance to somebody that understands finance like Bennet and give other important ministries like defense to somebody who understands defense even if that i an individual from a party outside the coalition or even a non MK. Jobs like finance and defense are to specialised and important to give to ammeters as political payoffs.
2. Steinitz show fix the mess he created NIS40 billion mess!
David ,   Israel   (03.05.13)
Bibi is trying to screw Lapid and Bennett and blame them for the problems in the economy, problems he created by giving billions to the Haredim and wasted projects on the West Bank. By all means build but for Israel and not for the Palestinians to destroy in some settlement agreement that Obama and the EU force on us!
3. #2 - wow you're a real pessimist aren't you!
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (03.05.13)
Obama and the EU won't force anything on us and the Israeli economy is in great shape. Where was all this money wasted in the WB? Wow, do you see grey skies and storms when you look out of your window?
4. So Lieberman will be Defense Minister
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (03.05.13)
And the Arabs and Iranians will be quaking in their shoes!
5. Lapid Should Be Minister of Television
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (03.06.13)
Lapid is qualified in Television and Television only. Perhaps they can give him the Entertainment portfolio?
