he was very wise...he realized that the paintings were just things and he sold them in order to save his mother! Being a talented and wise man he continued his art collecting and selling and again wisely chose to leave the work he owned to two prominent universities.... Wise, Wise man, may his memory be for a goodly lesson and memory to all of us!

How many more and of what value are they now? The Germans looted too many Jewish artifacts to mention as well as gold, diamonds, homes and of course, their lives. ONE painting???
