1. Where are the sinkholes when you need them?!
tom ,   tel aviv   (03.11.13)
I wonder at people over 40, that still have the strenght& nerves to (in ernest) discuss politics! This whole circus has to be thrown out of town, but what shall we erect instead I don't know... :-(
2. Enough with games
David ,   On this planet   (03.11.13)
BIBI should cancel all deals with those two. Any deal with the devil would be safer than those two trouble makers. Do it before it's too late. Those two aim is to bring about new elections.
3. #1 "what's instead???.... check out the Syrians..
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (03.11.13)
If you don't want to negotiate , just start shooting eachother
4. Is Bayit Yehudi ready to give away the "bayit?
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (03.11.13)
We know Yesh Atid has an agenda to give away Judea and Samaria and disenfranchise all the residents that live there. Is this something that Bennett and his followers have agreed to so that his Chareidi friends will go to the army. There is something missing here and its not being discussed openly.
5. # 4 You're right.
Jules   (03.11.13)
Bennet will give away zones A and B to Abbas. His political program states that zone C should be annexed, but nothing at all is said about the rest of the territories
6. Whom likud-baitenu is representating?
Jew1 ,   Ashdod   (03.11.13)
Why likud-baitenu do not agree on equal burden of share? Because they are representing haredim in secular outfeet. Remember this for next elections....
7. Hereidim and nation service
Lioness ,   Israel   (03.11.13)
I do believe that everyone should share in the burden and I do believe more than ever we need unity in our country. While everyone is up in arms on the matter of the ultra religious not serving in the country I wish to remind you what they do do. They are the first on the scene when there is an accident ot G-d forbid a terror attack. They are the ones that also look for the body parts so that a person can be buried whole. They are the ones that clean the bodies of the dead and bury them. How many people think that they would like that job? I believe we can learn Torah and serve in the army like the Hesder boys I also believe we need the wonderful volunteers in Zaka and Hatzolah they are really doing their share too and if that is what they are good at they should be combining Torah learning with ambulance and hospital service. That is a very important contribution.
8. Wait and See
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (03.11.13)
There is nothing else we can do, we are all being held hostage.
9. #7
A ,   AFULA   (03.11.13)
I agree that some ultra religous do contribute to certain important functions in the community. Unfortunately, they are a minority of the ultra religous community who do not contribute but just know how to take.
10. irony...
ej ,   tlv   (03.11.13)
Maybe if Lapid didn't insist on so many ministerial posts he wouldn't be so surprised that Likud suggests more that there be more than 18 ministerial posts!
11. No to Coalition! Yes to new elections!
David ,   Israel   (03.11.13)
Netanyahu has destroyed the Likud with is deal with Israel Beiteninu. Not my words but those of the Likuniks! Ask MK's like Danon and Hatubelli! If there is no deal and thus no coalition, well Likud won't even get 20 seats and Israel Beiteinu will jump ship! Bibi will run away to the USA again, write a book and make millions!
12. leaks and spins
marcel   (03.11.13)
if a coalition comes to pass, bibi's days are numbered with his constant insecurity is sickening already. what is pathetic is most of his competition are more pathetic with dumb livni, mofaz, yechaimovitch who has an oslo peace treaty on her pedestal even if its a gas chamber compact(she is so stupid), lapid whose father was a politicial supporter of olmert who virtually killed israel. Bennett, liberman, feiglin, gillerman and who knows else will vy for the leadership. What lapid and bennett have done is to shake up the haredi who have been adversely affecting israeli and jewish security for years for the small gains of pious jews which do nothing to combat arab terror.look in the eye, chosen people, people of the book, of course self descriptions have been association with bloody disasters against the jewish people. However, some of the misfortune can only be taken on by the jews. to sign a balance peace treaty is one thing. But to run to bibi to replace bennett who might leave to sign any deal knowing that the arabs would forsake their end of it, like yechaimovitch and livni say, and to praise themselves, these are jews who invite gas chambers, yes. And what will be? So israel will fight for a 1000 years from better vantage points and thats what will be. You are scared? go to the gym and take up karate. Half the nation kn ows karate. The other half are a bunch of weaklings studying torah.
13. #8. Perfectly correct. The entire country is held hostage...
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.11.13)
while the politicians play themselves and Lapid basks in his sudden power to break Bibi. With this line-up, it will be very difficult for any PM to get anything done - and it could not have happened at a worse time with all the enemies closing in on Israel. Yet, there are ways to avoid this chaos - eg. if only 2 umbrella groups are allowed to actually face the polls - so it is either win, lose or tie. Let them all form their coalitions BEFORE elections, iron out their differences, make their agreements, on their own time, whatever - and spare the nation this terrible scenario. It allows for endless parties as usual and each can campaign individually and bring in their votes for their umbrella group. Putting aside candidate preferences (or dislike), it is heart-breaking for any Israel supporter to see the chaos that passes for elections. There must be a more efficient system.
14. 11David, a man who can make ...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (03.11.13)
millions and instead serves his people is a patriot. We should all vote for him at the next elections. Nobody like Bibi knows to find a balance of what every society wants and what Israel needs .And that in a land which is a microcosm of the world many populations with sometimes opposite principles. Everything is not perfect in Israel, but he is the man with enough experience to try to reform that what needs improvement. Bibi is a man of peace who wants the best for his country. Give him the power to govern Israel.
