The enlightened Saudis realized that the overhead on hiring swordsmen was killing them, so they switched to assault rifles and that has cut down on the up front costs.

Obvious reasons why there are less swordsman, its medieval!!
And i thought they were doing it because it was becoming unnaceptable!!
Seems there are less people that want to do it thus meaning the people themselves object and do not want to "study" it!!

Maybe they should use suicide Vests. That apparantly is also not against Islam. In fact, they could do mutiple executions , one vest, 4 condemned prisoners.

If the koran prescribes head chopping, I'm sure the great sages of Islam will find any other method killing unacceptable. Surely even Mo' in all his wisdom did not foresee the coming of guns, so I doubt such an enlightened practice will ever hit the chopping block. Gosh, where would it all end - uncovering women's faces or (perish the thought) hair???
