1. The NII should pay for harassment
rachel ,   Home now   (03.11.13)
Done to her by her own people? Even if she was a valued worker, is the NII responsible for actions of non-employees? I do not understand. Does this mean my son will get compensation for the harassment he gets every day from Arab residents?
2. Such a pity her name has been withheld, very sad that
Chopper4 ,   CPT, South Africa   (03.11.13)
for being loyal to Israel she has to live in fear. The state should give her an award to show they appreciate the work of people like her. We need to encourage more arabs to follow in her footsteps.
3. Kavod.
Birdi ,   Israel   (03.11.13)
This brave Arab/Israeli, woman should receive a citation from the President for being loyal to our State, for encouraging Arab/Israeli youth to enlist into Zahal and for being a shining example to her fellow Arab/Israelis.
4. Let Obama hear her story at same time he hears SalmasOpinion
Alan ,   SA   (03.11.13)
Let him hear what Israel is up against for "Peace"
5. Isn't there protection for such harrassment?
Mark ,   London, UK   (03.11.13)
I don't see how one can help if her husband's business suffers, but isn't there personal protection against harrassment of this sort. Doesn't she get sick leave?
6. This needs to be top news everywhere
Avi   (03.11.13)
This story is key in bringing issues from the arab sector, this woman's plight, and bringing her, and our, goal to light and exposure. This article should be on the front page for all Israeli news agencies.
7. A sensible and courageous woman who should be helped!
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (03.11.13)
She is exactly the kind of person that is needed. And I give her my thanks and encouragement to continue her work.
8. What is her name?
Avi ,   NYC, US   (03.11.13)
If indeed she is ostracized by the Arab public then there is no need to hide her name, isn't it? They already know it! Cheap "hasbara".
9. Those who Call Her Traitor Are Obstacles to Peace
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (03.11.13)
This woman's efforts are commendable and the response of those who berate her are deplorable. Those people who call her traitor are the very reason why there is no peace. Those people who oppose peace must find another place to live outside of Israel or there will never be peace.
10. I really feel for this lady, but do not have much hope for
jrebecca ,   modiin   (03.11.13)
her. Once you've been ostracized by your community it never really gets better. The police could be involved, but that might make it worse.
11. Agree with you Birdi, she deserves a citation
Yossef   (03.11.13)
12. proof that "Equal Share of the Burden" should include ARABS
Chani ,   Akko   (03.11.13)
13. you should send this piece to EU and UN
Mira ,   Vienna   (03.11.13)
and to SA "apartheid-week", that they wouldn't have any reason any mroe to blame racism and apartheid on Israel instead of on the Arabs. The hasbara in Israel and for Israel has to improve very much!!!!
14. All Arabs and Jews should serve from river to sea, integrate
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.11.13)
15. Thank You
tom.morris ,   Toronto   (03.11.13)
You planted seeds for Israel and for 2 communities Brave lady !!!
16. #8 Avi - Why do YOU need her name
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (03.11.13)
Are you an Arab that wants to attack her?
17. We would welcome her in Memphis to speak
Shep ,   Memphis   (03.11.13)
at the June 9th, 2013..6th annual Memphis Israel Festival. She would be perfect in our speaker tent if she speaks English.
18. Arab Israeli citizens like this woman should be commended
A ,   Belgium   (03.11.13)
Arabs that threaten her and her family should lose their israeli citizenship (and all the benefits that go with it) and be sent across the Jordan River to "palestine".
19. #14 Benassi -Loyal Arabs ONLY
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (03.11.13)
And this woman had one hell of a time finding some
20. NII: reimburse her, sue Higher Arab Monitoring Committee
Serge ,   Montreal, Canada   (03.11.13)
This is almost a classic insurance issue. The NII should reimburse her and sue the Higher Arab Monitoring Comittee, which is clearly at fault, to recover its costs.
21. #14 Only figures you would ignorantly comment on integration
A ,   Belgium   (03.11.13)
Israel always has been integrated, in spite of the problems the "palestinian" occasionly cause, unlike the United States. Go back to your bedpans.
22. A brave &courageous women!
oded   (03.11.13)
kol hakavod to this woman of valor, and her followers!
23. She should be given a medal.
David ,   Ottawa, Canada   (03.11.13)
I think it would serve Israel well to recognize, and make known, these sort of Arab citizens. The state and population should be proud of this woman, and any others like her, and show the world that loyal and contributing Arab citizens are appreciated.
24. To # 16
Avi ,   NYC, USA   (03.11.13)
I personally do not need her name. The fact, though, that there is no name attached to this "woman" indicates ...she does not exist. Again, if the Arab public shuns her and her neighbors harrass her then they already have her name, don't they? What is the point in hiding it, then? I hope that even you could see the absurdity in this article. If you can't, then I will ask someone sharper, maybe Sarah B, to explain it to you.
25. A woman of courage
Cara Bereck Levy ,   Neve Ilan, Israel   (03.11.13)
I have tremendous respect and admiration for this woman, who has put herself in danger to uphold the values of good citizenship.
26. #24 Avi NYC
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (03.12.13)
Maybe someone that's sharper than you can explain why you needed her name if you weren't interested ?
27. So basically she is just whining to get some cash...
Thomas the Doubter ,   USA   (03.13.13)
