1. Muslim oil sales to the apartheid regime
bob ,   potomac, md usa   (03.15.13)
Interestingly enough, the anti-Israel crowd in RSA (from Tutu on down) never ever ever ever issued so much as a peep during the apartheid years, when all of the apartheid regime's oil was imported from the Gulf oil states (including post revolutionary Iran) and the sultanate of Brjunei. Articles about thiswere written back then. See, for example, The New Republic of Feb. 10 1986, for a start. There is also an article with footnotes and tables from the MIddle East Review of the same year.
2. anti arpartheid protesters
ky   (03.15.13)
Please note it does not matter what stunts you pull we, the majority of Jews will always support the state of Israel. Jews fought against apartheid in South Africa there are too many to name , unlike the Islamic opponents of apartheid who you can count on one hand. Who is the real racist the multi cultural state of Israel or the monolith of Islam?
3. obsession....it is a sickness...
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome   (03.15.13)
4. Big Dumb and Stupid
Rob ,   NY USA   (03.15.13)
Why don't they protest their own parents where they inherited such low life deficient brains from and raised them to blame all their own faults and mental problems on the smallest person or smallest country.
5. No, its not the oil
Todd ,   California   (03.15.13)
The need to scape-goat for political gain is as old as human nature, and Jews are the ultimate scape-goat; a small minority that has contributed more to humankind than any other culture, that has resisted persecution for millennia. Of course, since the Holocaust, you have to find a more palatable scape-goat than the Jews directly. Every arab dictator knows who to blame for their countries' problems, and other countries see how successful it is. Blame the Jews! Israel is the main problem of the world! Much easier for a government like the ANC to join the BDS bandwagon than to actually solve some of South Africa's real problems. Oil will run out in 40 years. But hating Israel will continue.
6. SA students? no, stupids propagandists
dr danielmostrel ,   paris   (03.15.13)
in france , we oppose any temptative , and BDS campaign is uneffective, most jews are proud to be sionists and claim it , and BDS is illegal
7. this will bring the 'Palestinians' what precisely?
tiki ,   belgium   (03.15.13)
One more proof that these apartheid nonsense has nothing to do with 'helping Palestinians, but with morons having a free anti jewish hate festival.
8. Cultured
Nice bloke ,   Rochdale, UK   (03.15.13)
Perhaps the music was too cultured for them and their ears just couldn't take it anymore.
9. This is not bad news
Johan ,   Sandton south Africa   (03.15.13)
I agree that what happened on my campus is bad, however the backlash that the Muslim student body has received is good. Most of the students have become anti Palestnian because of this. Students on campus ( both white and black Christians ) are becoming more pro Israel because an israeli artist was attacked and we hate violence. Most educated South Africans are with you Israel, and don't you forget it!
10. the more they scream
alsky ,   toronto   (03.15.13)
the more people will see them for who they really are. There is lots of evidence on the internet, Fox news and Sun News !

thank you for your encouraging words. from your mouth to god's ears. israeli
12. Why Are There so Few Black Faces in the Arab Street?
Marcohoe ,   San Francisco, USA   (03.16.13)
In the 18th and 19th Century, about 2.5 million black slaves were brought to the Arab world. In comparison, 200.000 black slaves came to the U.S. But when you see a picture of an Arab street there are very few black faces. Did the Arab ladies all take black lovers? Oh, wait, something was done to the men to keep them from procreating. In the 1980s and 1990s, two million black Sudanese were killed by the Arab rulers from the North of the country. Dear activists, get to know your Arab friends.
13. I humbly apologise
Rodney ,   C.T. SA.   (03.16.13)
To Yossie and Israel for the disgusting behaviour of these pro-palestinian hooligans who completely lack any culture whatever. Viva Israel.
14. BDS = BULLY, DISTORT & SLANDER
JS ,   Boston US   (03.16.13)
15. Apartheid? Are memories really so short?
Ben ,   Singapore   (03.16.13)
You'd think that South Africans, of all people, would know what apartheid really is. Arab citizens of Israel have full legal rights in Israel. Arabs have the right to vote and there are currently 12 Arab members in the Knesset. Arab Israelis study in all of Israel's universities. All of Israel's hospitals employ Arab doctors who have a particularly good reputation among Israelis of every background. The list goes on and on. Unfortunately, so does the anti-Israeli propaganda which knows no limits.

Thank you for your post.
17. Where was security?
Dina ,   USA   (03.17.13)
Shame on them. Maybe your manager can reserve Weil Recital Hall at Carneie Hall to give your NYC fans a concert where I guarantee there will be no Harrassment if I am in the audience!
18. #9 & #13 Thank you very much!
L ,   Israel   (03.17.13)
19. Hello? Police? Security? How could they allow this to go???
(03.17.13)
20. Typical hypocrisy
Ex SA ,   Tel Aviv   (03.18.13)
This is really rich coming from a country in which, after 20 years of ANC government, remains deeply steeped in an apartheid mentality, with its president still singing his machine gun song to chants of "kill the white kill the boer". Whites are virtually not ALLOWED to be hired anymore and are not being granted university places, and they call Israel the worst apartheid state?
21. Now I know
BK ,   USA   (03.18.13)
why you can call this scum aholes. How can you get into a concert hall hiding those awful Vuvuzulas? Must have been amply stuck up their backsides.
22. suing the BDS
Elie Meimoun ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.24.13)
Do you know if someone is going to sue the BDS?
