One of many mistakes by the Bush "administration". Where would you begin to list them?
3. Haha my paranoid neighbors to the south

No wonder why that fetishism for guns.
4. Needful to end that unstable sociopath
Cameron ,   USA   (03.19.13)
Letting that dark loose cannon of unlimited revenue & ambition forever festering in the middle of the world's energy supplies? No, his time had come.
5. It was correct to remove Saddam as he shot SCUDS at Israel.
Jouko ,   Finland   (03.19.13)
Without removing Saddam, he would have killed perhaps tens of thousands Israelis by his rockets. So it was for Israel's sake that he had to be removed from power.
6. Should have Polled Soldiers
Mark of Lewiston ,   USA   (03.19.13)
The numbers would be radically different if they polled those who served there. Maybe 10% approval in that group, though that would be on the high side. It was not the cake walk. It killed Americans and Iraqis. And life in Iraq is not improved for ordinary Iraqis. PTSD and the vast increase in suicides among soldiers was not worth it. And it has never been paid for by any American except for those who served and their families.
7. Yes or no?
michael Pielet ,   Israel   (03.19.13)
Saddam Huissein is gone. If he had remained what would have been the result? The United States paid a heavy price in the blood of its soldiers and treasure.. There is no simple, yes, no answer.

Yes, but removing him didn't mean we should have stayed. We removed Saddam for the sake of the world and stayed for the likes of Haliburton.
9. any fool with half an eye could have seen it

It was obvious that Blair & Bush were lying even before they actually admitted to it years later...well Blair did since he's somewhat smarter than W. But in any case for those who wanted to know - they could have known that all the pretext for the war was fabricated. The american public, at will, allowed themselves to be brain washed. my guess is, had the outcome turned out differently, I.e., complete control of Iraq's oil supplies by the US, the Americans would probably not be complaining about anything. what's even more sad, non of the liers will ever be punished for the crimes they've commited - 1st against the Iraqi people and second against their own people. after all, a lot more loss has been incurred on the Iraqi side than the american. but then again who cares bout non-american blood!

Right, so why did WE get in to get our boys killed and maimed? With all the idiotic nationalistic bantering coming out of Israel, one cannot help but be surprised at the speed they ran to Uncle Sam instead of doing the jobs themselves.
11. 4,500 killed to satify neo-cons, israel & jewish lobby
(03.19.13)
12. Older Americans more likely to say it was a mistake
(03.19.13)
sadly shows that young Americans are growing up brain-washed by the media. The invasion was an illegal act of aggression and the biggest blunder in US history. And it was brought to us primarily by shadowy neoconservatives acting behind the scenes who had been planning to invade the entire ME long before 911 came along. And yet these American criminals walk free in America to this day.
13. Poll: Iraq War
ltrail ,   United States   (03.21.13)
The Gallup Poll is just a Poll. It joins Media to substantiate the liberal view. It USED to be a legitimate Poll, but....... Hey, it works for the Media. The Media is biased and liberal. Lol.
14. Jouko #5, But that is a lie, in reality.
Jake   (03.21.13)
By 2003 Saddam's arsenal of Scuds had already been decimated. Ariel Sharon himself cautioned Bush against removing Saddam, saying he was NOT a threat at that point. Morevoer, Bush and his administration officials are on the record as explictly denying that the decision to go to war had anything to do with Israel. Speculations of the type you entertain do no service to Israel, but merely fuel anti-semitic conspiracy theories. Hopefully that was not your intention.
15. #10 Laird
Jake   (03.21.13)
Jouko is NOT an Israeli, so you can stop using his speculations as an excuse for venting your ugly anti-Israel prejudice. American officials have long ago confirmed that Ariel Sharon specifically warned President Bush AGAINST going to war in Iraq, stating that Saddam was NOT a threat to the US in 2003, rather Iran was the main regional threat. Bush has also confimed that the decision to go to war in Iraq had NOTHING to do with Israel.
16. #11, Ariel Sharon advised Bush AGAINST the war in Iraq.
Jake   (03.21.13)
Keep your antisemitic conspiracy theories to yourself, you anonymous coward.
