1. No better solution than through Jordan
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (03.19.13)
Israel can offer Jordan security, economic support for industry, water, Agriculture , building , education, Healthcare .. Nations of goodwill can support finance this dream solution Creates a haven to attract Palestinians in area A&B to jobs, healthcare housing and education across the river Jordan Great way to demote terror with human endeavour.
2. not 2 state solution but 3 state solution
michel ,   ashkelon   (03.19.13)
the only way to manage the problem is with a strong structure as a confederation between Israel, Jordan and the palestinians.
3. The little Jordanian puppet!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (03.19.13)
This clown doesn't seem to realize that when the Muslim Brotherhood, finally, decides to end his rule, his days' are over. In regards to the two peace treaties--well, they're not worth the paper they are printed on. All-out war is coming! Israel will suffer greatly, but WILL win, because God still watches over his chosen people! God bless Israel; praying for the peace of Jerusalem!!! Christian Zionist
4. Abdullah II, interview
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (03.19.13)
He starts to realize that good neighborhood and friendship with Israel is crucial for his survival. Why? His reign as monarch is endangered by the Muslim brotherhood (MB), who gained more and more power in his kingdom especially among the Palestinians living there. That organization in Jordan is strengthened and already possible backed by the MB-governments in Egypt and Gaza. Maybe, he's right: the two-state solution idea is almost buried. But is it only our fault? He thinks about an Arab-Jewish state, but he forgets to mention the option of one Palestinian state (the union between the West Bank and his kingdom), an option proposed by Ariel Sharon (I think it was Sharon's idea). Also his remarks about Erdogan are correct. The man was and is related to the MB. So, his only option is to have a strong relationship with Israel, regardless who's the prime minister here.
5. Agree -
Ralph Haglund ,   Lund, Sweden   (03.19.13)
both Israel and Jordan win on cooperation, security and economy. If Israel helps with security and making the desert bloom, one can make it so palestinian arabs WANT to live there. No moving of people, but they can wander if they want. Especially those 50000 arabs in area C. Of course trade between PA and Jordan could grow a lot. And - Oslo says that industrial areas should be set up, why has nothing happened in 20 years?
6. Area not Ready
zechariah   (03.19.13)
The area is not ready for democracy which Churchill philosiphied was anyway the better of the impossible choices constrained by the flaws in human nature. Some Human Rights yes Clean Water Safe Food Shelter Security from Violence Murder and Tortures Disease Jobs etc Possible .
7. YEAHHH...it ***IS*** too late for the 2 state
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (03.19.13)
solution...the king is a "genius" !
8. #2 What!!?>??????
Dan ,   Florida - Tel Aviv   (03.19.13)
Michael, the so called Palestinians ARE Jordanians. In any event the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has PLENTY of unoccupied land perfect for the so called Palestinians.
9. Abdullah II and Bibi
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (03.19.13)
If this story is true, Abdullah II has grievously and palpably betrayed the cause of Palestine Liberation and likely will be deposed, probably sooner rather than later.
10. #9. Actually he should run for his life
A ,   Belgium   (03.19.13)
instead of counting on Bibi to defend it for him. The arab state of Jordan/"Palestine" may not look too kindly on the foreign king, especially after what his father did to them.
11. The King
Get Real ,   UK   (03.19.13)
A union between the WB and Jordan, with the subsequent increase in the Palestinian population, would probably be the end of his Kingdom. So he is most unlikely to support any such union. He also has other issues to face at the moment ranging from the MB, extremist neighbouring Syrian rebels, The Arab Spring etc. No wonder he needs to stay close to Israel.
12. #9 - guess Abdullah doesn't buy the fabricated Pally story
William ,   Israel   (03.19.13)
