Compared to most countries in Europe and certainly your own, Israel has very low levels of crime like the one described in the article . I feel safer walking the streets of Tel Aviv, than I do in Paris, London or anywhere in the USA . In court they will have the opportunity to make their case. If they are found guilty of this horrific attack they will not be treated like convicted criminals in Gaza or other medieval systems. No hands will be chopped or mutillations take place. The IDF reservists face Hamas and Hisboiler fighters who have no regard for civilians, face no investigations for their actions. Your ignorant ,exaggerated and unfounded comments about IL youth and IDF are not born out by the facts. IL has far lower rates of this type of youth crime than most nations with similar economies. Especially your own. We certainly need no lessons from USA on this matter.

First, accolades to the security forces which were able to identify and arrest the juveniles. Secondly, may the victim suffer no long term damage from this crime. Thirdly, the "criminals" are not adults and we should avoid prejudging them. They will have a day in court followed by an appropriate punishment. By law, so far, the perpetrators have not been proven guilty. Please allow time for the legal process to take its course. As criminals, if proven, they will have a file to hunt them for the rest of their lives. Israel is a civilized society which works reasonably well, as it should, but we know it can always do better.
