Both sides are publicly committed to a Peaceful Resolution and Palestinian Statehood So if we are all agreed let the negotiations commence - what are we waiting for? We know where we want to be so lets work out how to get there And we want Abbas to be the Driver in getting talks started and not Netanyahus Passenger!

The present reporting here displays an ignorance of so many facts. At the White House on 13 Sep 1993, the late PM of Israel, Rabin, called for an end to the conflict between the Israelis & the Palestinians. Arafat of the PLO pledged his commitment to resolve the conflict through negotiations. Yet on the very same day, Arafat made the following broadcast in Arabic on Jordanian TV; "Since we cannot defeat Israel in war, we do this in stages. We take any & every territory that we can of Palestine & establish sovereignty there & we use it as a springboard to take more. When the time comes, we can get the Arab Nations to join us for the final blow against Israel." Arafat was referring to the still existent PLO plan of phases. Mahmoud Abbas, his deputy & now successor, was with him every step of the way. Nothing has changed, as the banner behind Obama and Abbas shows. It bears a Palestinian flag with pride of place being occupied by an image of Arafat. Enough said.

Abbas refused to talk to Israel for years and NOW he repeats the same old "Demand" of Israel?? Oh, and after he pledged his full support of Hamas, who Human Rights has charged Watch"DEMANDS" before the Hague?? Sorry but, Gaza or Jordan will have to do. In case you've forgotten Abbas was the 'engineer' who is responsible for the deaths of the Israeli Athletes in Munich. No nation that has defeated the same enemy on multiple occasions ( pals and arabs vs. Israel ) would ever cede any land to their sworn enemy. Thankfully, most American's fully support Israel. Those who support the pals, the muslims, the arabs, are and will always be losers. BUILD BABY BUILD !!!! Give the pals what they gave you( at least ten times ) Oh Israel!!!

This is also a one-off incident. A condemnation for the President's visit. Now let's hear Hamas condemn it and attribute it to 'other factions' ?

Abbas was quoted as saying by an advisor that he condemns violence no matter where it originates? That's not much of a condemnation. Abbas didn't say it and he did not specifically condemn this morning's war crime.

If you haven't already taken note, it might be helpful to remember that vocal "Demands" made of Israel are nothing more than a true provocation and an assured way to do what Israel 'Demands" best for Israel and, that is, to BUILD BABY BUILD !!!! Abbas, you bet the farm and lost it all. Perfect, now, make it paradise, MOVE to Jordan and please take your Dome with you.

Don't hold your hopes high and don't pay attention to the liberal left wing media in the Western world. The fact is there would be peace in seconds if the "Palestinians" wanted it. They have a different agenda which precludes the existence of a Jewish State.

Abbas did not condemn today's rocket attacks. These are clear war crimes against a civilian population and should be condemned as such. Abbas did the old Arafat trick of condemning some vague act somewhere about something against someone. NOT a condemnation in any respect.

Obama's words and posturing once again underlines the fact that US is happy to see Israel gobble up the whole of Palestine. If the Palestinians want their country back they will have to plan their way themselves. Forget two state solution, ceasefire , road map , peace process and all the accompanying nonsense, usher in the next intifada.

It is a fact, that if you and your ilk were not so full of hate, there would have been peace a long long time ago. Unfortunately, the West bank and Gaza are full of people like you, willing to kill your children just to make sure there are no Jews in the land! Some day, the local residents of Ramla, Gaza, and the rest of the West bank will wake up and realize what you have done to them for the last 60 years and will kick your butts to Jordan or somewhere else and make a lasting peace. Until then, more death, more sorrow, more "indignities" will be their lot.
