I was mistaken by insultingly suggesting that President Obama is an enemy of Israel ,I truly believe he is well-meaning .But... he tries to please both sides in the israeli /palestinian conflict and that is impossible to achieve.

As a proud liberal European of British and Irish Nationality and as someone who admires both the Jewish People and the Arab People for their incalculable contribution to Humanity I loved Obama's speech, he is absolutely right, the rights of both people, Palestinian Arabs and Jews to live on the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean sea, Israel/Palestine, is incontrovertible, no one has the right to remove or expel anybody from their homeland. Israel Is going nowhere and will always be the sovereign state and ancestral homeland of the Jewish People, the Palestinians are also going nowhere either from the homeland that they have lived in for over 1500 years, and have every right to form a state on that land existing in peace with Israel, which as a middle Eastern country must integrate itself into the region, that means ending the occupation on the basis of a two-state solution and in return receiving recognition and normalized political and economic relations with the Arab and wider Muslim world. The vast majority of decent Israelis and Palestinians believe in this principle and it must be believed in and not be destroyed by those who would seek to destroy it.
