The two states solution is the only pragmatic plan possible, so let's hope the discussions with Palestinians will start soon. If discussions will not result in a secure peace, it will be time for the United States and other Great Powers to impose an intermediate peaceful solution on the region, to hold until Israel and Palestinians will be ready to talk directly.
But in the meantime, shortly, Israel will go through almost a month of Pasover suffering during which citizens will not be able to buy many products in the supermarkets. It was the then PM Shimon Peres who signed into law this shameful "non-kosher" prohibition. Mr. Peres must be very ashamed of this inhumane law but no steps are taken to retract it.
