1. Erdogan's Turkey Is Still Enemy of NATO and West
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (03.23.13)
Turkey under Erdogan has joined the Islamic extremist camp of Iran and Syria. Erdogan is still a friend of Assad even if he pretends differently. Most educated Turkish people hate Erdogan and these are the friends of the West. The supporters of Erdogan are Islamist who hate the United States and wish for jihad against all non-Muslims. Israel said sorry, but this does not mean that Erdogan is not an enemy of the West and of NATO.
2. The Turks need those Israeli radars, weapons and drones
DOUBLEWIDE ,   ATLANTA GA USA   (03.23.13)
and now since Israel apologized for defending it's self, and the US gave 1/2 billion $$$ to Abbass and cronies, (in gratitude Abbass gave Israel 60 days grace before the Pals crawls to the ICC to try and hang the Jews! (nothing mentioned about the 4 arab hamas rockets shot at Israel during the Obama tour de force.)
3. its enough
anton ,   istanbul   (03.23.13)
this game,i am kinda tired of childish talks exchaged between turkey and israel The world spins with or without both turkey and israel israelis dont feel ashamed as thre no shame in saying sorry, on the ocontrary be proud as it takes courage and wisdom to apologise and makes people wrong who says israel never apologizes for anything
4. Erdogan seems to be backtracking
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (03.23.13)
if erdogan goes back on his word, then it will be not only an insult to netanyahu, but also to obama, the president of the united states.
5. Apology to Turkey
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (03.23.13)
I really don't care if Israel finds it politically expedient to apologize to Turkey, but one good apology deserves another. Israel should have added a suggestion that Turkey apologize for the genocide that it has been conducting of the Kurds in Turkey and in Iraq, for years.
6. " a dish of lentils"
Jacques VITENBERG ,   France   (03.23.13)
Obama gave jush a "dish of lentils" yo Israêl!
7. #1
Crossfade ,   Istanbul   (03.23.13)
Yeah right..Assad is Erdogan`s best buddy lol...and i thought Israelis were smart
8. The apology just mentioned loss of life..
Beary White ,   Norway   (03.23.13)
..which is easy to say. It is just a pfrase with no underlaying feelings. At least those turkey-terrorists from IHH which are supported from little mr.erdogan are dead, and SALUD for that. Go on and remove the IHH-terrorist from the face of the earth, and just say "I am sorry". :-) Now, if he read this, it is to late for erdogan to retract his acceptance of the apology :-) Then "I am sorry" :-)...
9.  Apologise to those who would kill us ?
Roland Seener ,   London England   (03.23.13)
10. just a phone call!?
Jacques VITENBERG ,   France   (03.23.13)
The phone conversation between Bibi and Erdogan is a vitory...as was Oslo... Bibi doesn't speake Turkish and Erdogan probably spoke in Turkish and Bibi got a translation.. The result is a lot of misunderstandings. What was exactly said about the blockade of gaza? Erdogan knows and Bibi knows. Did you heard about the blockade? I NO! and you? So the future of Israel is just a "play dice"? As was Oslo?
11. Will Turks and JEWS
David ,   USA   (03.23.13)
Now that Irsrael finally appoligized and offered to pay back money to the victims family. Will the Turks begin to like the Jews again or not???
12. 3 anton
alsky ,   toronto   (03.23.13)
so where is the apology from Turkey on sending ''humanitarians' on a ship attacking soldiers ?
13. How about we appologize to the germans
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.23.13)
and the others that helped them for the Holocaust? We have one weak government followed by another one. We need someone with courage as p.m. and not a lifetime politician.
14. #5. Remember this, Obama brokered the "apology" and...
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.23.13)
he will never demand that Erdogan apologize to the Kurds. He knows an uncivilized, ignorant a$$***e when he sees one.
15. Galloway,you're welcome on your next trip.!
Roland Seener ,   London England   (03.23.13)
16. Good apologies.
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (03.23.13)
Apologizing does not mean weakness. On the contrary, it is up to dignous and honourable people and States. Beyond it, Turkish friendship is very important to Israel. Despite of some Islamic radicalism from Erdogan's government, Turkey is yet a laic Republic, Nato's member and powerful country. She can help very much on influencing Gaza's leaders in order to cease the aggressions. Your Prime Minister is all right. Think better about it, Israeli brothers and sisters.
17. Erdogan asks for more
Nora Tel Aviv   (03.23.13)
Apology mapology.....Now, Erdogan is not only talkig abourt opening Israel`s sea ambargo on Gazza but about mediating towards pre-67 borders. He is a real islamist, no good will come to Israel from his mediation.
18. Turkey is the enemy of Democracy
Claudedeparis ,   France   (03.23.13)
Turkey is an islamist country. Beware of it. No apologize from Israel to Turkey. And when Ergogan will apologize for the attack aginst the Israeli soldiers on the Mavi Marmara?
19. massage to erdogan
Johnny ,   Israel   (03.23.13)
apology its just fine. Do not expect that israel would stop the naval blockade on gazza its an important step to keep the region demilitarized . do not push so far or the warm relations will Collapse again
20. 12
anton ,   istanbul   (03.23.13)

21. 20 anton....yes
alsky ,   Toronto   (03.23.13)
Id love to see the day when any Moslem will apologize to an ifidel ! So, yes I do !
22. Next time use a torpedo
Mordechai   (03.24.13)
Just have a submarine sink the ship and refuse to comment when the world screams
23. Bibi's apology
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (03.24.13)
so this is what is announced afterwards?
24. And what about the Palestinians?
Joe Malanti Semor ,   Proud Israeli   (03.24.13)
And I thought that the purpose of the "voyage" of the Mavi Marmaris was to break the embargo on Gaza. No mention of it now. By time the Palestinians realize that no one, not even their Muslim "friends", care two hoots about them.
25. Counter Productive.
dan ,   Israel   (03.24.13)
Any apology should have been mutual. with turkey apologizing for letting the shop depart in the first place. Turkeye, instigated the event and could have prevented this in the first place. While i am not against an apology for the loss of life, i feel that the onus is on Turkeye for allowing this to transpire in the first place
26. Bibi apologized, I didn't.
Nik ,   Israel   (03.24.13)
27. #22 WHY GO THROUGH ALL THAT TROUBLE!
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (03.25.13)
We can easily damage the the engine and then tow it to the shore. But this would have given more encouragement to other flotillas and would not stop the whole flotilla crap. A sample was made of how Israel deals with intruders and Turkey ended up paying for it. The big question is that why Erdogan allow this to happen while he was warned not to do so? The answer is that he really did not think that our marines wold open fire if attacked. Now, they all know what will happen next time. We could have kept the ship on waters floating for days and then we could have boarded the ship later. Less people may have been hurt. Israel did the right thing. If there was no gun fire or attack then no one would have gotten hurt.
28. BIBI DID WHAT WAS ULTIMATELY GOOD
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (03.25.13)
for Israel at the end. He is insuring Turkey that we are still friends and he is keeping the war in Syria and not Golan. He swallowed his pride for the good of Israel. He made an executive desiccation. I like what he did. He just gave Turks more confidence to fight to help Syria. AND THE BLOCKADE IS STILL THERE. That is what matters the most. Erdogan just got the a phone call and now he has resume buying from Israel. Who is the real winner then?
29. Turkey' Erdogan
Anthony Smith ,   New York City, USA   (04.05.13)
Prime Minister E. Erdogan should now apologize to Cyprus for Turkey's bloody invasion of Cyprus and continuous illegal occupation in spite of the UN's mandates to clear out!
