1. No sovereign country can be pushed this way
Keren ,   IL-BR   (03.25.13)
Israel does not owe nothing to anyone. Israel WON the miraculous 1967 war and those, who are here again to push Israel,LOST. Israel should not act under their pressure and should work with the new Knesset a new way of approuching the palestinian issue,a way that is trully legitimate. Arabs own virtually the whole ME and a new approuch to transfer these Arabs in our land to THEIR lands should start being discussed in Israel, and NEVER the transfer and destruction of our own people ,as they wish. DEMAND them to WAIT untill the end of Pessach in 7 ,8 days and then start to think about what to do IN OUR TERMS. DO NOT ACT UNDER PRESSURE!!! LET THEM WAIT!
2. How can we negotiate a Pizza when you have already started e
Anton ,   Eat Jerusalem   (03.25.13)
eating the PIZZA. IF me and you buy a PIZZA and i discover that you have eaten half the pizza already on which terms shall i negotiate ((Apologies i dont mean to describe the holy land by pizza, like Kathafi has decribed it before like a shoe who cannot be put on by two persons!!!))
3. The Arab League
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (03.25.13)
Can do something MOMENTOUS Invite Netanyahu to adress the League Thats the support we want from the League Not interference, not meddling, not pressure Just the moral support of the League for whatever we as Palestinians decide is for our best interests in our direct negotiations with Israel
4. ARAB LEAGUE
H ROSEN ,   PA USA   (03.25.13)
THE MORE GUYS THAT STICK THEIR NOSES IN THE LESS LIKELY THERE WILL BE ANY AGREEMENT AND THE MORE LIKELY THAT ABBAS WILL TOUGHEN HIS DEMANDS ..RIGHT NOW THOSE DEMANDS ARE NON STARTERS. OBAMA WILL LIKELY STAY OUT SINCE IT IS APPARENT HE NOW THINKS ALL THE PALESTINIANS WANT IS WHAT ISRAEL WILL NEVER AGREE TO. WE HAVE HEARD IT ALL "67 BORDERS BLAH BLAH BLAH" THE SETTLEMENTS WON'T DISAPPEAR AND IN FACT THE PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH SPACE FOR A COUNTRY ...THE CONCENTRATION OF PEOPLE THERE IS QUITE LESS THAN ISRAEL. THE ARAB LEAGUE SHOULD STICK TO BASEBALL
5. Build Build Baby Build
(03.25.13)
Captured Territories Are Israeli, they were Captured When arabs Waged War with Israel and LOST the Was And The territories! 1967 borders are Indefensible, Jerusalem Is The Undivided Capital! Come to the table or Not! Facts are facts and arabs Lost Out! Yella
6. Obama is the employee of Arabs
Keren ,   IL-BR   (03.25.13)
It is not the US who is seeking to bring Arab countries into efforts to restart "Israeli-Palestinian negotiations",but the opposite:It is Arabs who are seeking to bring US into their agenda. US Americans are doomed because their president is an Arabs slave not only their employee.
7. Inaccuracy in the story.
Miron ,   USA   (03.25.13)
Jewish people were systematically ethnically cleansed from Gaza after US invaded Iraq. The operation took to genocide with some families driven out to desert and executed, including elderly. In 2005 Hamas threaten to genocide communities and Bush demanded ethnic cleansing of Gush Katiff in return to security guarantees and certain conditions, US Adminsitration approved and expressed in Bush's written statement. In 2008 Mr. Obama abdicated written statement. He unilaterally, with direct opposition of US both houses of paralment demands ethnic cleansing of part of Ierushalaim and forebearence to build Jewish homes in Arab territories, unless US expressly guarantees security of such a home. Hamas, seeing some support to its visceral hate of Jewish people started bombardment of Sderot 1/2 year after ethnically cleansing Gaza of the last Jewish man, woman and child. A number of people died from rockets within 1st year. Israel threatened to re - occupy Phyladelphia corridor. In an attempt to show off its prowess Hamas kidnapped Gilad Schalit. Israel responded by demand of soldier immediate release. US Administration of George W. Bush, unfortunately, and consistently with accepted US diplomatic practice responded "non of our business". Tzipi Livni did not mention Gilad Schalit name for the next 3 years and paid for it with her FM post. In the meantime Israel, seeing that lives of her Jewish citizens worth nothing and that international community washes hands seeing Hamas terror was reluctant to respond by walling off terror enclave from Israel. The story of " in 2005, dismantling almost two dozen settlements there, but sharply restricts access to the territory" is a propaganda gimmic that revises history occurred over past 10 years and is Anti - Semitic. Walling off Gaza was in no way related to what the authors term "withdraw" of 2005 but Hamas terror. Even more interesting, US sponsors Gaza to the tune of 3 billion dollars / year. Those are passed on as handouts to local residents. When Hamas seized powers and became sovereign in Gaza 2 million Gazans went to Egypt within first 2 months. 2 months later Egypt walled off Gaza. Feel free to research "why".
8. Now the real Obama shows its ugly face
Devorah   (03.25.13)
He had this arrangement with the arab states long before he came to Israel with all his smiles, cajoling, promises, etc. He can't bulldoze Israel fast enough. Woe to the U.S. for what Obama is doing, but that's part of his plan, too -- crush the U.S., and crush Israel.
9. Pals want right of return meaning all of Israel
Sam ,   Canada   (03.25.13)
Palestinians saying they want the 1967 borders for a state is just a propaganda trap. They also want a right of return which means they want all of Israel. Jews are just being complicit with Palestinian propaganda when they too say Palestinians want the 1967 borders. This is serious stuff and there is no room for Jews being so naive.
10. Anton...Youve been eating too many Pizzas!
Tim ,   Brighton   (03.25.13)
And this Pizza analogy is making me starving hungry!
11. The SNAKE Obama will FAIL !

Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (03.25.13)
water...SHOVE it Hussein Obama !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
13. Two State Solution is DEAD please bury it!
Bear Klein ,   CA USA   (03.25.13)
It is needed in this world to deal in reality not an Alice in Wonderland Fairy Tale. Is Israel to provide a piece of land to Hamas, Al Quida, Iran or whom can it count to establish a peaceful country that will in peace and harmony with Israel and accept that it is a Jewish Country?
14. It is not about the peace process
Eyal ,   USA Israel   (03.25.13)
Don't you see what's happening here? The longer the PA is not a state with their own land, the more money they will get for sympathy. Once they make peace, the money flow for sympathy is over and it's back to work.
15. Bibi also said he would not apologise to Turkey
Alan ,   SA   (03.25.13)
16. A promising start
Keren, IL-BR   (03.25.13)
Fakes 1 and 6. This is one of the first results of Obama's visit. This push is very important for the restart of negotiations. Israel has no other way to survive in the region as a decent and brave nation. It is time to grab the opportunity and secede from the Palestinians.
17. New Israeli govt. should serve proof Judea/Samaria are ours!
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.25.13)
Now that we have a new government, with a substantial number of real patriots, its time to do what should have been done decades ago. Serve legal proof on the U.N., E.U., all world governments, media, religious organizations, NGOs etc. that Judea and Samaria legally belong to Israel. Our proof, supplied by many world leading international law experts, is incontrovertible. This would be easy to do. It would greatly strengthen Israel's position, encourage our friends and expose our enemies as the evil racists they are.
18. 16 Keren
alsky ,   Toronto   (03.25.13)
and what will be good enough for them ?. Last round, 95 % was not good enough for them. Your friends wouldnt know what to do with peace.
19.  2 anton
alsky ,   toronto   (03.25.13)
when you dont wish to negotiate the pizza gets eaten. !
20. Any initiative ought to be based on the fundamental elements
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (03.25.13)
of international law as they are related to the Arab Israeli conflict and its resolution: 1) San Remo conference, 1920 2) League of Nations decisions, 1922 3) UN Charter, Article 80, 1945 4) UN Security Council Resolution, 242, 1967 In addition, at the end of talks the Arabs, local and regional alike, ought to accept Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the SOVEREIGN NATION-STATE OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE; and that a peace treaty means the END OF THE CONFLICT AND THE END OF ALL FUTURE DEMANDS. Nothing short of the above will do.
21. Tell arabs to go to Hell !!
Don Rosenberg ,   Palatine USA   (03.25.13)
These racist ingrates who lie and kill babies want our land, when the muslims give up the Jewish land taken in mecca and media, and north africa in 1948, Israel should then talk. Otherwise, losers do not dictate peace, winners do. The fake invented arab people have their country, jordan. The midget in jordan should take these people, not Israel. all along it should be jordans responsibility to take the arabs racists in Judea/Samaria, period. Otherwise build and build and push these racists out.
22. the arab league can be trusted to be impartial
zionist forver   (03.25.13)
With the Arab League being invited into this then they are either going to push the arab plan which we rejected from the day it was drafted or they will start demanding exactly the same pre conditions to talks Abbas has been making for the past four years. They may even go with the Olmert solution to Jerusalem whereby its governed by the palestinians, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Israel. I am sure the Saudis would love to have a say in the running of Jerusalem and they will like it even better three out of the four countries who own a share of the city are arabs. Obama has just given the PA $500 million, if he was smart he would have tangled the $500 million in front of Abbas and said you want any of this or any political support from me your going to get down off your high horse and negotiate unconditionally. Remind him its the palestinians who want land Israel currently controls and they won't be getting it if they don't negotiate. Obama your the president of the United States, most powerful man in the world so why don't you do your own dirty work asking others to come solve the problems.
23. Arab League, Israeli, Palestinian Peace.
David Clarke ,   Liverpool, England   (03.25.13)
This is a good start and is almost certainly due to president Obama's efforts to bring Israelis and Palestinians back to the Negotiating table. A mature, face to face meeting between Israel and the countries of the Arab league has been long overdue and it is the best way forward for negotiations to occur and for mutual grievances to be aired in a peaceful diplomatic manner and setting, after all for peace to occur there must be an unequivocal recognition from the Arab league for Israels right to exist and in return for Israel to unequivocally recognize a Palestinian state on the 67 borders, there must then be full diplomatic normality between the Arab states and Israel and a joint declaration that the Arab-Israeli conflict is over with an end to all territorial claims by both sides. The only alternative to this peace is a prolonging and continuation of war, death and destruction and a continuation of hate, division and resentment, Israeli and Palestinian Children deserve to see better than this, they deserve to see a better future free from rocket fire, resentment and military occupation.
24. REJECT the inclusion of any other Arab country...
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.25.13)
in any peace talks. Exception: If Jordan is taking back its Fakestinian citizens or Egypt will take in the ARABS occupying Israel. Any additional country will only serve to apply more pressure on Israel. Obama is a snake. To include more Arab countries is to stack the cards against Israel. Egypt is in a total mess anyhow. They can’t solve their internal problems far less any problem outside. To get Arab ownership of all the territory was the intention of the Arab countries from the beginning. A small Arab state will do for now. It can extend its territory with patience and time. Recognition of 1967 borders??? Since when did those lines drawn become borders? Israel will tie up hands, feet, neck, everything if it does so. DO NOT GIVE IN. No Arab in your place will do that. I fear that Israel has a reputation for giving in with ridiculous concessions that hurt the country afterwards, starting with Mosche Dayan. The rewards of long, hard and bloody fights are just handed over to the enemy. So what is Obama going to tell Israel? “Don’t worry, you are safe”, he’ll gush. “I am your friend. You are not alone, I’ll stand by you. Didn’t I give you the Iron Dome to protect you? I offered you security so now, pay back time – recognize the ’67 borders”. Thank you Santa! You were such a great friend to Israel – and the Iron Dome story reverberates on and on into the receptive ears of Israelis. Ha! Beware of Obama bearing gifts! The price tag is: Iron Dome for ’67 borders and a great PR opportunity for him. I wonder where he was when friend Mubarak fell!!! Obama makes a mess of everything. Don’t allow him to mess up Israel too. Israel got a chance to see the work of the devil at his best – the most compelling display of deceit and seduction ever.
25. They all need a "peace plan" for themselves, nevermind Israel
Alan ,   SA   (03.25.13)
26. two state final solution
DavidR ,   USA   (03.25.13)
This so called two state solution that is being renewed against the will of the people will blow up in everyones faces. It will result in a major war that will probably go world wide. Obama is the architect of world war three. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
27. #2 - explain this - are you saying Israel "ate some pizza"?
William ,   Israel   (03.25.13)
Are you describing Israel as the side which ate the pizza before it arrived to negotiate on? From your "location" one can deduce on which side your biases lie. A better analogy would be if a neighbor intercepted the pizza you order before it got to your house, then arriving at your house said they might negotiate with you over the pizza but since it was in his hands already, it was really all his. It's worth noting that before 1949 there was no such thing as a divided Jerusalem since its founding thousands of years ago. The 1949 Armistice line is not legally an intl border based on the agreement, and the ethnic cleansing of many Jews especially from Sheik Jarrah, is a war crime and that must be reversed per Intl law. Arabs had the opportunity to share it under intl oversight in 1947 and rejected it. It's obviously a Jewish city, the center of the Jewish religion and holiest spot on Earth, and it was the Jews who pumped major investment into the city when it was so neglected for centuries by Muslims. This goes back to original ownership...just like the pizza.
28. Bad news! It was involvement of Arab League
William ,   Israel   (03.25.13)
that caused all the headaches in the region from 70 years ago already. It was the Arab League that promised a river of Jewish blood in 1948 and rejected Israel's existence in 1967. They continue to be an obstacle to the entire process because they have competing agendas with the "Palestinians". First, let the members of the Arab League improve conditions of "palestinians" in their countries, and normalize relations with them including granting them equality and citizenship.... then they can come back to Israel to take part in peace negotiations.
29. Reply to #17 Please don't cry, but there is no such proof ..
On the Balcony ,   Akko   (03.25.13)
Your constant claim of "incontrovertible proof" that the occupied territories legally belong to Israel makes me wonder if you are a very young child repeating your misinformed elders or simply devoid of rational capacity. In either case, I begin to feel bad for having to correct you all the time. I'm afraid to make you cry. Please, if you are old enough, just look up "International law and Israeli settlements" on Wikipedia for starters. If you do not learn the truth soon I am afraid that you might develop more serious psychiatric problems when the Israeli government begins abandoning settlements as it did in Gaza.
30. The Arab League
albert snow ,   sweden   (03.25.13)
The PLO can´t accept any peace agreement without the AL given green light. The PLO is only a pawn in their game. They´ll never accept any agreement for peace. In their charter it says zionism=racism and should be eliminated. So how can there be a peace? Dream on...
