I have said one million times: it is useless to fight against the occupation. The more we realize this, the more we will be humilliated and isolated. Divide Jerusalem. Let the Arabs do whatever they want in the Arab neighbourhoods... For myself, I never put my foot there and never will. East Jerusalem is essentally Arab... Issalwyia? Beit Hanina? Whats the use of it? Why fight for it? Just give them to the Arabs and good riddance.

albert snow ,   sweden   (03.27.13)
The AL is trying to interfere in israeli domestic politics. Israeli politicans has to strongley reject such behaviors. Remember. The Arab Leage is the master and Abbas their dog. He´ll never sign a peace treaty with Israel without the approval from the AL. And they´ll not approve any peace that wont lead to the destruction of the jewish state.

honey, they got more than one billion dollars throughout the years, but all they built is the big pockets and bank accounts of their corrupt leaders. ..like arafat and haniye, mashaal and abbas. apart from large bank accounts of leaders, nothing was ever really built with any of the billions of dollars in funds. this is why they live in the sewer they exist in.
36. Israel should dismantle the Waqf ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.27.13)
... and tell the Arab League and everyone else to take a hike. Jerusalem is the capital city of Israel, and the State of Israel should brook no foreign interference. That includes the Waqf and those haredi who would see restaurants and cafes not operate on Shabbat. Any resident of Jerusalem who objects, is free to leave. No one is forcing them at gunpoint to remain.

Sam M ,   UK   (03.27.13)
If Jerusalem is an arab/muslim city then by the same logic the palestinians who are nothing but an historical fairy tale and a fig leaf for muslim/arab hatred and intolerance could lay claim to any other city/country in the world. As with Jerusalem/Israel there's absolutely no evidence to back their claim but since when did that make any difference? The colonial powers kindly created a state that is perfectly suited to the pals it's called jordan. But that's not the point the real agenda is and always has been the destruction of the Jewish homeland.
39. #33 Not real Keren - It's her impersonator again
Joe   (03.27.13)
Don't people have the brains to present their arguments - right or wrong arguments - in a cogent and honest manner? Impersonating a regular contributor here to defame her reputation is not only dishonest but it reveals a lot about the nature of the identity thief.

First of all, phony Keren, its "Cartagio delenda est." If you don't know Latin, don't use it -- you'll only succeed in making a fool of yourself. Of course, Israel -- in that time-honored and historically-supported tradition of those who are victorious in defensive wars -- could simply boot out the Arabs and keep the territory. No shortage of historical precedent, on every continent, in fact. That is the optimum solution. Keep the land and good riddance to the ersatz "Palestinian" terrorist slime who seem to think that the vanquished have a say in anything.

Have you heard the word International law? Secure borders? Don´t you know Israel is surrownded by enemies and that every inch of the western territory can turn in to a base of terror like Gaza? It´s in the very interest of Israel security to don´t give away even one inch of soil ligthandedly to it´s enemies. What´s happening now is a war between the AL/PLOand Israel without guns. Israel has to take serious the treath from them very seriousley. If not it´ll be the end of the jewish state. I

Sorry, Ms. Ersatz Human Being, but stopping the "time honored and historically-supported tradition" of acquiring territory by military means was one of the principle reasons for the creation of the League of Nations and its successor, the United Nations. Of course, I realize that little things like law, logic, and reality have no place in your rhetoric but you may be pleased to know I’m no longer shocked by your prose. In face, I welcome more of it. Maybe the vile voices of you and your cohort will help awaken enough sane Israeli’s to effectively put an end to the screeching by negotiating a peace treaty with the State of Palestine. So, please, stop mincing words and tell us how you REALLY feel about the settlements, Arabs and Israelis who share my views. :)
