2. May G-D give you strength
Keren, IL-BR   (03.29.13)
For this bereaved father, this Hag could not be sadder. I am sorry for this news. May G-D give him strength to overcome this terrible moment in his life.
3. Tragic
Chaya ,   Bat Yam   (03.29.13)
The sea can be a very dangerous place. Many years ago I almost got swept out to sea (actually, it was the Atlantic Ocean - S. Jersey). I almost pulled my girlfriend under who tried to save me; but thank G-d a man came along and saved the both of us. I pray that this father finds at least one of his sons safe and sound.
4. Hey, news flash!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.29.13)
When the black flag is up, don't go in the water above your knees. My condolences to the family. This is not a rescue operation -- this is now a recovery operation. May the family find peace. My heartfelt sympathies.
5. Arab Israelis?
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (03.29.13)
With a name like Suleiman... Or?? Curious to know as I'm wondering whether Arabs are less into swimming and therefore more vulnerable...
6. HOW TRAGIC...MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THEIR PARENTS

7. Caustic sarcasm
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (03.29.13)
Sarah B, you salt your "heartfelt sympathies" with caustic sarcasm: "Hey news flash!" Black flag notwithstanding, youngsters have drowned, a family is distraught. Your sarcastic swimming lesson is callous.

More than unnecessary. I have just sent a request to the editors to remove it.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.29.13)
My comment was certainly not intended to be caustic or sarcastic. But a 26-year-old is not a "youngster" and ought to have been watching his younger brothers, not ogling girls in their bikinis -- which is really the only reason Arabs go to the beach in the first place.
13. 12 Disgusting
Avi   (03.29.13)
Sarcastic or not, you're a sick individual.

No, I'm not sick. Just telling it like it is.

No, Ali. I'm just smart, observant and very, VERY realistic. I also go to Israeli beaches. I've seen Arabs frothing at the mouth watching women in revealing bathing suits and -- unfortunately -- occasionally topless. Now THAT qualifies as sick. Not me. I'm just reporting what I've seen. Crawl back under your rock, Ali, and put your thumb where you usually keep it. Dream of Israeli girls in bikinis. Or -- in your case -- a veiled Arab girl in a burka. Talk about sick!
16. To 10
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (03.31.13)
My question was genuine. It may seem naive but I've only lived in Israel for 7 years mainly inTel Aviv. I really did wonder if these were Israeli Arabs or not. Certainly didnt mean to offend anyone. It's a terrible tragedy.
17. 2 the family condolences; 2 the divers all praise...
W. Turner ,   Israel   (03.31.13)
it took from Thursday to Sunday to find the four bodies. it was all done during holiday time. it was Jewish/Israeli divers on holiday time vacation working to return 3 Bedouin sons to their family for burial. It makes me sad and I send condolences to the family. and I send all honor (Kol HaKavod) to the divers. a sad job well done.
18. Sarah, the time 4 honoring urself will end soon!

No, unnamed one, you are the sick and diseased one here. Are you an Arab? I'm guessing you probably are.
