Relative to some, Mashaal--as much as it burdens me to admit it--is an angel. Just the willingness to say the word "Israel" and being amenable to some sort of peace (as opposed to, you know, murdering all the Jews) distinguishes one from the cesspit of Hamas ideologues.

Folks, here's an idea I woke up with: Since physically linking Gaza to the West Bank with Israel in the middle would be quite challenging, even impossible, how about two separate states: Gaza and Palestine. I may be off base, but Gaza was always part of Egypt and I think of the inhabitants as Gazans. Whereas I think of the West Bank as another separate entity. PLEASE don't yell. Just think quietly about the practicality and then give a reasoned opinion. Thank you.
6. Mashaal re-election
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (04.02.13)
Mashaal, leader of Hamas, the Gaza-section of the Muslim Brotherhood, is a moderate. Here we start again, sigh, sigh... Europe, the States, Russia,… can again bury their heads into the sand.

and so were the 4,500 plus rockets fired into Israel from Gaza?? are you freaking nuts or just a supporter of terrorism? Either way.. you've got problems.

you had a bad dream. Judea, Samaria, ALL of Jerusalem belong to Israel. Gaza is NOT Egypt, and there wont be another inch given to any terrorists pal entity, got it? Good.

***RELATIVELY***. I didn't indicate that he is, by any stretch of the imagination, a good person. Why are you attacking me...? We're on the same side here. My problems involve following political news before midterms, not singing the praises of terrorists. All I'm saying is that we need to be communicating with someone on their end, even if it is just to deter them with threats.
14. Okay
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (04.02.13)
send the reply via Israeli rocket to Gaza. Remember, there is no moderate pal.
15. well, as you know...
J.Gad ,   Israel   (04.02.13)
Khaled Meshal weeks ago in a visit to king of Jordan and others arabs leaders, agrees that peace talks between israel and palestinians is possible. So, if hamas became a peaceful political tnua among palestinians, and if a peace deal is reach between Israelis and Palestinians, perhaps Khaled Meshal is playing with the idea to became a candidate in a democratic palestinians election. Of course, no body doubt he has many supporters in the palestinian side. The question is what could be the Israeli goverment opinion with that political perspective. After all, Netanyahu knows very good khaled Meshaal.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.03.13)
Oh, so you think Israel should reward the ersatz "Palestinians" for seven decades of unremitting terror and violence, visited against Jews both in the State of Israel and in the Diaspora, by giving them two states? Hermetically seal off Gaza from the State of Israel. Give Gaza statehood. Mortar fire? Missile fire? That's an act of war and Israel is free to respond the way all nations do when attacked by other nations. Judea and Samaria must be annexed, and its Arab residents repatriated to Jordan, country of their citizenship. Those preferring Gaza are free to go there. And all those ersatz "Palestinians" languishing in diplaced persons camps in other nations will likely be booted out of their host countries, and sent to Gaza. Of course, Gaza is a rather small place ... but that would be their problem, wouldn't it?
17. Moderate
Get Real ,   UK   (04.03.13)
He is trying hard to give the West the impression he is a moderate in order to have Hamas removed from the terror list. Until Hamas renounces the use of terror, recognises Israel's right to exist, changes its Charter etc the use of the word moderate is irrelevant. Terrorism remains deadly under any regime or heading.
