2. The U.N. isn't "failing". It's pro-terrorist.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.05.13)
The U.N. isn't "failing" in Lebanon. It's helping the terrorists, which is exactly its intention.
3. #1. Eric: the truth is worse than that
Tom W ,   USA   (04.05.13)
The architect of Israel's defeat - Tzipi Livni - is re-invited into the new gov.ment. As Israel suffers more and more severe blows in the future inflicted by the Arabs, Turks, Hezbos etc. the impotent whining will grow louder. Facts: with the departure of the Holocaust generation Eurasian Jews - those who survived the death camps and were willing to fight for Israel despite Truman's and Western arms embargo - the future of Israel is questionable. American and Western Jewry did not do squat to save or to help Eastern European Jews - like myself - they won't do anything in the future for Israel either. They are too busy promoting Obama's and the New York Times anti-Israeli and pro-Islamist agenda.
4. UN: So what new !

7. UN
Roxy ,   Israel   (04.05.13)
They are like the French army very good at surrendering and waving the white flag !
8. And, why would this be surprising?!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (04.05.13)
They're inept, worthless cowards!!!
9. Yeah, it sure isn't smart trusting...
Taz Man ,   USA   (04.05.13)
...an anti-Semitic organization, like the UN, to be an honest broker between yourself and your enemy. It seems we just can't get rid-of political correctness, even at the cost of endangering one's own security. Not wise at all; but, that's what happens when outside powers' are allowed to interfere with your internal-affairs. It needs to stop! Israel needs to tell these interlopers to stay the heck out of their business! But, with weak leadership...I just don't see that happening! God bless Israel and His Jerusalem!!! A Christian Zionist
10. UN-UNIFIL
Beer ,   Germany   (04.05.13)
Anybody surprised? They are also fleeing Golan heights now. UN, UNIFIL, UN-something are the brandmarks of uselessness.
11. You're a bit off about the UN
Tom W ,   USA   (04.05.13)
The UN is not an independent legislative body but the extension of the member gov.ments will. The UN cannot act without the consent of the major powers - see Putin and the Chinese "NO" vote over Syria. Were the U.S. the French and the British more adamant about the role of UNIFIL, Hezbollah would be under more control. Its very clear that the current pro-Hezbollah policy of the UN is tacitly condoned by the anti-Israeli Western leaders, that is, "A fish rots from the head down". Judge the UN from the proper perspective: the French is openly supports Hezbollah, so does the majority of EU nations.
12. Its the destiny of Hezbollah to outlive Israel...
Mike Van Harris ,   Belgium   (04.05.13)
13. Israeli's should patrol in Lebanon !!
Don Rosenberg ,   Palatine USA   (04.05.13)
If the UN is corrupt, which it is, Israel should patrol the routes the weapons are coming in from. If the racist arabs have nothing to hide, it should be ok. We know they are bringing in weapons. The next war they start should be a war of destroying their entire country and taking buffer land back for security. I hope my country supports Israel and sends warships to Israel as we are doing to support the south koreans, who should fight their own wars. It seems obummer and all the muslim supporters in Washington, side with these racist muslims more that our best ally Israel. Its ok to hate nazi's and kkk, but not the muslim political cult.
14. #1 et all: The UN is has not failed into Lebanon!
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (04.05.13)
The UN in Lebabon - UNIFIL, like in Syria and in other countries is there to keep the peace and at the first sign of trouble, run away!. #1 Eric and others who obviously hate Israel and probably Jews and close their eyes to the atrocities committed by Muslims in countries other than Israel, like the USA, Pakistan, India, Indonesia (Bali) and Nigeria, please show us an example of a war that has been prevented by the UN. In fact, the UN has gone to war twice, once against North Korea and and secondly against Iraq! So much or "Peace"!
