Culture of whiners - there is not another example in the entire world of people who for 65 years can not rehabilitate themselves and stop being refugees. I agree with all you said except for one thing -- they are not "refugees." They are voluntary quits. Displaced persons -- of their own making. They left of their own volition. Millions of Jews WERE true refugees, and they all have managed to make a life. Without becoming a millstone around anyone's neck. You are entitled to receive from UNWRA all the food you can eat and cash to spend on top of that. While you are at it, demand an increase in allowance because prices are sky high these days. Sarah. I also made "alya" with my family and we were much luckier than your parents. We had 70 dollars and a whole family waiting for us and support us mostly morally (The good thing is we have never expected otherwise). Then, there were both the Jewish Agency and the Ministry of Absorption. But, all in all, we all followed the well-known concept of DIY and managed to rebuild our lives after so many (bitter-sweet) years in Europe. I am amazed and deeply saddened at the gall of these Arabs both in Gaza and the West Bank. They falsely declare themselves as Palestinians, they revert to terrorism against the Jews and Israelis, they put up the cheat scam of the century fooling nearly the entire planet, they still expect the world to foot all their bills, they are held in total contempt of their Arab brethren from the whole Arab world , and they still believe they deserve a country.
