In the latest round of talks about 'peace talks' the PA demands that Israel produce a map of a future Palestinian state. This is Illogical and insane. The PA should be producing such a map and then negotiating with Israel. But the PA believe that they do not need to negotiate since the General Assembly, and Obama, have endorsed a Palestinian state on the 1949 ceasefire lines between Israel and Jordan which were destroyed when the Jordanian army backed by the PLO went to war agaisnt Israel in June 1967. If Abbas had wanted a state on those lines he should have said so then as a founding member of the PLO. But hten he wanted Israel's destruction. He still does but knows he cannot get it. In the meantime....... let the Americans waste their time while the EU, US etc fund the PA. Everyone gets something. Not what is needed but then we can't always get what we need or want. So why is Kerry visiting?Because this is his chance to be the would-be peacemaker and join the ranks of so many famous people before him. Plus, Obama sent him to keep up appearances that the US is 'hoping' for a 'breakthrough'. Meanwhile in Teheran the centrifuges keep on spinning.
