31. This can be turned around.
Reuv   (04.10.13)
We need to invest more resources in Hasbara on the campuses. And non-government groups, such as Stand With Us, the David Project, and SPME are already actively making the case for Israel. Arabs on campuses are so obnoxious, that with the exception of far leftists, students resent them.
32. To # 18: What proof Are you talking about?
Ismail Al jazaeri   (04.10.13)
The Torah? Come on dude, ownership by a devine decree? you got to serious and find another excuse, specially in campuses where science prevails not some illogocal myth.
33. anyone that has an open mind
Former Gaza Activist ,   San Francisco, CA   (04.10.13)
will eventually see the truth. Since high school I was vehemently against israel. I had no doubt that what was happening was ethnic cleansing. My parents were activists against apartheid in south africa. And I never understood why my parents were sympathetic towards israel. In 2002 I went to gaza with a few friends to help stand up to israel. In my almost 3 years until the pullout, I was slowly starting to see the outright lies that were being put out there. And when I qould question the authenticity of certain events, most of my friends wouldnt acknowledge it and those lies would still be spread thru all the media. I noticed when we filmed it made things much much worse, violent protests would break out and my friends would edit the provacations made towards the israeli soldiers. And I was always calling out for peace, but most of tge palestnian friends I had told me they dont want peace, they want all of israel with no jews. And thats when I started seeing things clearly. I also remember the israeli soldiers showing restraint even when they were being provoked. Sadly now that I dont the palestinian-israeli conflict the way I used to, those friends dont talk to me anymore and I probably can never step foot again in gaza. But after witnessing tge pullout and instead of it being a peaceful effort on israel, its basically never brought up, and I see that the palestinia. Are now being opressed by their own leaders in hamas. For so much terror targeting israel, ive always been amazed at how much restraint they show. Any other country would destroy elements firing upon ones civilians. I do help various pro israel projects, but im still hoping for peace, but I just dont see the palestinians giving up on tgeir true intentions which is having all of tge land with no jews, its very sad since their are many moderate palestinians too scared to speak out, and all these activists actually contribute ti the palestinians suffering. Plus after visiting israel, parts of it are the most liberal places ive ever been to in this world, youd think its a liberal activists wet dream, but their hatred of jews, is justtoo much to see tge truth! 34. Campus Anti-Semitism
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (04.10.13)
Campus Anti-Semitism is not new. During my college days, from 1947 to 1953, there were admission quotas for Jews at major universities, quotas for admission of Jews to studies in individual departments, and exclusion of Jews from various campus organizations. The overt anti-Semitism did change, for awhile, in the aftermath of disclosure of the Holocaust. The "No Dogs, Niggers or Jews" signs disappeared, but similar signs are reappearing, with no reference to "Niggers", of course. The major influx of Arab oil country students, and attendant endowments, has brought with it a significant academia leaning toward Islam and against Israel. American liberal Jews generally ignore the issue, or pretend that it doesn't exist, but are reminded of it whenever a prominent Jew attempts to speak to a University audience, and is insulted and shouted down. The irony of the situation is that the American liberal Jews would be just as subject to the Islamic doctrine of "Death to Jews" as pro-Israel conservative Jews.
35. #32. Legal proof supplied by countless legal scholars.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.10.13)
#32. Countless top legal scholars have incontrovertibly proven Israel is the legal owners of Judea and Samaria. Including even Eugene Rostow, author of U.N. Resolution 242. Check out also Professor David M. Phillips at Northeastern University School of Law and countless others... That is why the P.A. refuses to debate the issue. The truth is 100% on Israel's side.
36. Most American colleges are...
Jake Stone ,   USA   (04.10.13)
...bastions of godless, liberal humanism! These morally bankrupt, sorry-excuses for higher education needs to be cleaned-out of all its filth!!!
37. #33. Well written. But Israeli restraint is disgusting.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.10.13)
Thank you for your heartfelt and well written post. I only disagree with you on one thing. You seem to feel Israeli restraint is a good thing. I believe it is a disgusting scourge that has cost Israel tens of thousands of maimed and murdered civilians.
38. #33 Former Gaza Activist
Justin   (04.11.13)
Thank you for your honesty and sharing your story. I never understood how liberals could support Israel's enemies when they are backward, hate-filled, anti-freedom fascists who are clear on their goals of genocide. True liberals should love Israel.
39. Tell me something new!
Erik ,   Norway   (04.11.13)
By now we all know to wll about the strategic partnership between leftist and islamists in the global islamo-leftist facist alliance. When the curtain falsl and the real game starts to play out, we will certainly be up to many surprises...
40. No 17 World Citizen (?)
Steven ,   Rockville MD USA   (04.11.13)
Right you are. Other people deserve justice as well, not only the Jews. How about the North Koreans, the Iranians, the Egyptians, the Tibetians, the Chechens, just too mention a few. But you do not give a hoot abaout anybody , only for those that "oppressed" by the Jews/Israelis and their money, and their "false" stories on the Holocaust. In other word you are just a simple neo-Nazi hiding under empty B.S. of a "world citizen". Eat your heart out.
41. @11 AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!
robert levine ,   las terrenas,DR   (04.11.13)
The biggest Israel bashers are self-hating Jews. They want to get invited to all the cocktail parties so they sellout their parents.
