Couple of values are NOT always there this time around......
3. iron rods? settlers don't use them, Arabs do
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (04.08.13)
This is a common weapon of Arabs, like the lethal rock. Chances are he was mistaken for having a good relation with the settlers.

HOPELY ISRAEL CAN SHOW THAT IT IS UNTIL NOW THE ONLY LAW, LEGISLATION, CONSTITUTIONAL AND DEMOCRATIC STATE IN THE MIDDLE EAST BY SOLVING THAT CASE AND BY USING A FAIR, HONEST AND JUST HUMAN RIGHTS-POLICY.

This sounds like the work of Fatah thugs. It could be that Barhoush criticized Abbas and they came to "teach him a lesson", but more likely he refused to pay protection money.
10. Let the police investigate
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (04.08.13)
At this point we don't know who did this evil crime. I don't care who it was - I hope that the police catch him and the courts impose the maximum sentence on whoever did it. This crime cannot be allowed anywhere at anytime period.
11. Get well soon
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (04.09.13)
Get well soon Sir. This sort of attack is totally wrong. I hope the authorities catch the culprits and punish them to the full extent of the law. In addition to the suffering of the individual and his family, it creates feelings of distrust . It is fortunate that in this instance there appears to be some relationship in place between the two communities which they can fall back on to prevent a deterioration in their relationship. Shalom to everyone and a speedy recovery to the wounded gentleman.

Doesn't it make you proud to be an Israeli?

Why do you discount out of hand that the perpetrators were Arabs? Does it make you proud to be extraordinarily stupid and short-sighted? Frankly, the weapons of choice are those typically favored by Arabs.
16. #14 Actually yes, it does.
Tahl   (04.09.13)
Firstly, there is absolutely no proof yet that the assailant was an Israeli Jew. For all we know, it could be another case of internal Arab conflicts, just like it was in Tuba-Zangria. Second, to answer your question - when I read about the warm relations between the residents of Kafr al-Labad and Avnei Hefetz, when I read of the devoted treatment this Palestinian receives in Sourasky, and when I read how grateful his this man's son is for this treatment - then yes, I feel very proud to be an Israeli. I wonder now - what do you have to be proud about? Your lofty nickname ("world citizen, the world") shows that unlike us Israelis, you have no country to be proud of. Your whole raison d'etre is hate for Israel. I pity you.
