Jack Teitel goes to prison for life, but this cur, who gave aid and comfort to the enemy during wartime, thus committing treason -- which carries the death penalty in Israel -- is going to prison for seven years, having successfully negotiated a plea bargain. Of course, the Israeli court can always treat the plea with the same seriousness as the United States District Court treated Jonathan Pollard's plea bargain.
Our priorities appear to be a bit skewed. Murder does not carry the death penalty in Israel, but treason does. It's considered a far more serious crime. For good reason.
