1. Good for Lieberman and Lapid
Ted   (04.09.13)
Lieberman said something that has been missing for a long time - leaders lead by example! And hopefully he meant it, and that the government will follow - cut salaries by 10%. It speaks alot to the common public. Lapid is taking on a tough job. i hope he will be guided by good advisers. And the opposition is foolish to criticize him prematurely.
2. Lapid realizes by now, that criticism..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (04.09.13)
is easy ,but art is difficult.
3. ?
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.09.13)
So who is telling the truth? Are the Finance Ministry's clerks trying to force Lapid's hand? Is the Student Union resorting to political lies (not spin - outright lies)? Is Lapid himself lying? Will we ever know?
4. Strange that the Student Union doesn't...
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (04.09.13)
Say who they met with and who presented this ultimatum to them. On the other hand, university tuition in the state-supported universities is so low that it's incredible. Can anyone find another university in the world with a YEARLY tuition of just $3,000? Where can you find any college in the US, even junior colleges cost more than that per year. Go to the TAU parking lots and look at the cars-- when I was a student, I drove a 10-year-old or older car, if I drove at all. Today, the parking lots in TAU are full of almost exclusively late model cars, all less than 3 years old. Somewhere, proportion has been totally lost, I think.
5. Double the feesof draft dodgers.
jason white ,   afula,israel   (04.09.13)
No army service, then let them pay double. Also let all those who go to yeshivas to avoid the draft not be paid any money at all. Let them get jobs to pay for those that served.
6. #4 Those who can, do.
(04.09.13)
Rather than looking at the cars in the parking lot, how about counting the numbers that arrive by bus because they can't afford a car?
7. Tuition
Dovid ,   Modiin   (04.10.13)
Tuition should be increased by 100% Unless you have served in the army, national services, or were exempt because of a low profile and weren't able to do national service.
8. 2nd rate media hack appointed Finance Minister..incredible..
Al   (04.10.13)
Dumb doesn't begin to explain the Israeli electorate for allowing this brain dead pretty boy access to power. You got what you wanted...you must be happy as peach.
9. MODERN NATIONHOOD=YISRAELIT, extra (vowel) letters+EDUCATION
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (04.10.13)
