2. Lebanon should classify Hizbollah as a terrorist group
Conroy ,   Toronto Cnnada   (04.10.13)
Hizbollah is the cancer of Lebanon. It has done Lebanon so much harm, especially the 2006 war it instigated with Israel leaving over 1000 dead Lebanese civilians, millions in damage and sectarian fighting. What use is Hizbollah for Lebanon. Let Lebanese troops deploy along Israel's border. That's the purpose of a national army, to protect the nation!
3. Don't get excited too soon...
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (04.10.13)
Bahrain -- or, I should say, the Bahraini regime -- is driven purely by self-interest in this matter. It's blacklisting 7izballah not because it's a generally unpalatable outfit, but because it (supposedly) threatens the regime's own survival. If it didn't, you'd be seeing Nasrallah breaking bread with Bahrain's "king" Hamad and the rest of the them. The same is true of the Emirates' pro-/persecution of the Moslem Brotherhood, contrasted with Qatar, which enthusiastically supports it. These people are not guided by any ethics; merely by their instinct to survive. Then again, so are our "guys."
4. Good for Bahrain! EU should be ashamed.

If they do that among themselves, nobody needs any special imagination to understand what they can, and do to non-Muslims...
6. Bahrain, but not EU
Harry ,   Sweden   (04.10.13)
It is so absurd, borderig on amusing, that a backwater Arab country like Bahrain now has denounced Hezbollah as a terrorist group, while the EU, including the oldest democracies in the world, can't bring themselves to do likewise.
7. No surprise

10. But Bahrain sees Israel as far more dangerous than Hezbullah
Avi   (04.10.13)
If Bahrain has to choose between fighting Hezbullah or Israel, they would not hesitate to fight with Hezbullah against Israel.
11. To: No. 10
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.10.13)
Oh, I don't think so. I think that Sunni hatred for Shia Islam trumps all. In fact, I'm pretty sure of it. There's a raft of world history to testify to that, Ali.
12. For decades they did not care about
Mira ,   Vienna   (04.10.13)
if Hezbollah were terrorists or not, it was Israel targeted and that served them well, Now they feel it in their own countries, they suddenly wake up. Israel was right again as usual!
13. Is that all?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (04.10.13)

Get Real ,   UK   (04.10.13)
their current contribution to the Syrian death toll. Wake up EU, if Bahrain can stand up to them why can't the EU? Sorry forgot, may de-stabilise Lebanon,as if Hezbollah had ever benefitted that country.
15. ON EARTHLAND/COUNTRY
SJOERD VAN DER VELDE ,   EARTH- LAND/COUNTRY   (04.11.13)

Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (04.11.13)
Bahrain had two years ago to deal with violent street riots, orchestrated by the Shiite opposition, that wanted to topple the regime there. But, what you see now is the revival of the struggle - many times very violent, see Pakistan, Iraq,… - between the two main streams in the Islam: the Shia and the Sunna. But don't forget and don't dream too much: the common enemy is still Israel. You have also to see the placing of Hezbollah on Bahrain's terrorist blacklist as a sort of confirmation that the Sunnah and the Muslim Brotherhood are taking or better re-taking the power in the Arab-Muslim world.
