1. Government Pricing?
(04.10.13)
The government sets bread prices? What is this communist Russia? And Israelis wonder why there economy is doing so bad.....
2. very encouraging move!
orli ,   jerusalem israel   (04.10.13)
it surprised ME how deeply touched i was by the announcement that the bread prices were being lowered. no, it will not GREATLY help our family struggles, but it really really encouraged me...as opposed to the news that water prices will NOT go down even though we are out of crisis, and that electric prices will rise AGAIN, even after the gas production started. thank you minister bennett!
3. Bread
Ariel   (04.11.13)
IsraelĀ“s economy is doing much better than the rest of the western world, certainly much better than USA. The state, very wisely, subsidizes the cheaper breads so the poor people can eat
4. white bread
fk   (04.11.13)
It would be better if there was a subsidy on something that is actually nutritious. Subsidizing white bread means that there will be more white flour-related illness, which also add to public expenditures. A plan for healthy diet does not include white bread, so how can this save money for any concerned and nutrition-aware family ?
5. Forget bread...give us circuses..the new USSR
Al   (04.12.13)
Why Israelis who travel the world and can appreciate the finer things in life, put up with this nonsense is something I simply can't understand. When will you people shed the communist mantra of nonsense? Competition and open markets are the only way to lower prices. Get governments out of your lives.
