Yes the conflict is very minor on a world scale and I'm guessing Kerry is here to talk about far more pressing problems than the Palestinians ie Iran, Syria, Turkey & Egypt. But as long as there are pressure groups pushing the Palestinian problem, politicians will continue to deal with it, even obsessively.
